Can u link that statThe mistake Ohio State made this year is that they got too pass happy
OSU passes more than 70% of the time on first downs this year.
Because you have an active board. I have followed you guys all year. I rarely speak of things Nebraska. I do speak of big10 and I didn’t start this thread. Why are you on a Nebraska board celebrating? Lol
congrats, I was thinking michigan would be waiting in the woods, while the ohio state media love fest had osu vs georgia for it all.Because you have an active board. I have followed you guys all year. I rarely speak of things Nebraska. I do speak of big10 and I didn’t start this thread.
Why? Do you mind?

Did you even watch the game. OSU tried to run the ball and Michigan kept stuffing the run. OSU didn't really give up on the run until late in the game when they were running out of time and possessions. Michigan's D line and linebackers controlled what OSU could do. OSU's best chance to win that game was chunk plays in the passing game. Michigan dominated in the trenches. The mistake Ohio State made this year is that they got too pass happy with all of those elite WR's that they have. They neglected a good run game and it cost them today. It cost them against Oregon too.

He didn't coach scared because they were ripping off 5 to 8 yards on virtually every running play. Michigan's O line was dominating. If we had an O line like that I suspect that Frost would line up and run it too.Harbaugh didn’t coach scared and continued to pound the ball instead of get cute like Frost would have. That’s why they didn’t go full Nebraska.
All I took from it is that Ohio State was somewhat predictable on first down. If Ohio State can run the ball then they do run the ball. I think they ran on three straight plays to start the third quarter, they got stuffed and never seemed to rely on it from then on..Did you even watch the game. It wasn't the OSU offense that was the problem this year. Their defense stunk it up all year and it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Day is going to let 2 or 3 defensive coaches goAll I took from it is that Ohio State was somewhat predictable on first down. Definitely, they weren't the issue. In this game I didn't see them recovering by having to force the passing game. Michigan dominated them on the lines and that was rhe biggest difference in the game. Ohio State didn't stand a chance if they didn't throw the ball.It wasn't the OSU offense that was the problem this year. I wonder how Jay survived? MmmmmI read that Harbaugh, in his 7th year, has only a single assistant left from his original staff
his son Jay Harbaugh
And you'll note that Jim doesn't call plays. The BIG thing being overlooked and I said it ever since I first saw the kid play was that Harbaugh FINALLY has his QB. They've always had excellent talent all over the field but QB has been a problem for him. This kid now can put a pass in a shoe box down a sideline. Couple that with their O line and you've got something.I read that Harbaugh, in his 7th year, has only a single assistant left from his original staff

He's probably a REALLY good coach.I wonder how Jay survived? Mmmmm
Don't expect anything to back his claim. I have asked for proof and nothing. He just like to make stupid statements that he thinks make him appear to be smart. Ask him about blocking techniques. Can u link that stat
for the season OSUs run/pass percentage is 51.6% pass 48.4% run (does not include todays game)
if they pass 70%+ on first down they must run a hell of a lot the other downs
Moronic post. Yeah, I didn't watch a game that I was literally posting about and my post was also about their whole season, not just one game.Did you even watch the game. That O line was very impressive today. They drive, locked up and kept driving some more. Until Nebraska can do that, nothing else is going to matter much. And you'll note that Jim doesn't call plays. Maybe there is some value to retaining the head coach while churning his assistants?
Alabama is not that great this year. 1 point win against Florida, 6 point win against lsu, loss to a backup qbGeorgia or Alabama would probably murder either of these teams..
They're still a top team and would be a difficult game for pretty much every team in the country. Alabama is more impressive than you give them credit for.Alabama is not that great this year. 1 point win against Florida, 6 point win against lsu, loss to a backup qb
Yeah he also wins 10 games most years and brings in Top 10 recruiting classes.
Maybe, but I think things are a little tighter this year than in the recent past.Michigan will get boatraced by UGA or Bama.
UGA’s defense is absolutely filthy. But agree regarding bama, better get ‘em now.Maybe, but I think things are a little tighter this year than in the recent past.
Actually, this has been one strange CF season. Totally unpredictable. The four teams that have dominated the playoffs over the last few years - Alabama, Clemson, OSU and Oklahoma - could all be shut out this year especially if Georgia beats Alabama as expected. In fact, Alabama, Clemson, OSU and Oklahoma were all rated in most of the top 5 preseason polls.UGA’s defense is absolutely filthy. But agree regarding bama, better get ‘em now.
Michigan scored a TD on every second half possession (except the kneel down) primarily running the ball. They were never in a 3rd down the entire second halfThat O line was very impressive today. They had a 3rd and 1 and a 3rd and 2. Still pretty frigging impressive.Michigan scored a TD on every second half possession (except the kneel down) primarily running the ball. They were never in a 3rd down the entire second half
Oops sorry -saw the stat posted elsewhere - thank you for correctingThey had a 3rd and 1 and a 3rd and 2. Still pretty frigging impressive.
