Wow, I just looked at their pathetic schedule. The only decent team they beat on the road was Michigan. And Micihigan is barely even decent. They lost every other road game to a good or decent team. Their schedule is a farce!

ok. but they have a good coach and they match up well with us.

would be a good regional final type game that the committee should be able to secure by the second round if msu starts losing pre tournament like they usually do. so we may find out about that soon.

:joy::joy: Who have we beaten on the road??? USC?? Ill laugh some more.

Its a down, awful, wide-open year in college hoops. Nobody has a very good resume because there simply arent any great teams.

They're playing as good as anybody right now. I don't know if they deserve to be 6th but definitely top 10 IMO.

I guess this means we should have no problem beating them should we have to face them in the tournament?

I guarantee Izzo will have his team ready by Tournament time, regardless of what his schedule has been.

Don't be fooled. Michigan State, just like UK is peaking at the right time. They are legit and Izzo is the only coach I'd want besides Cal. What a game it would be if we met them in the tourney.

valentine is such a unique player

he's either going to be a complete steal for an nba team picking in the teens or beyond, or too slow to play in the league

i think the first thing you have to take away from sparty is the early offense open 3 they get out of secondary break situations

Threads pop up like this all the one..........was one on Kansas, one on Duke, one on Iowa state.

It's tough to win on the road. In any conference. When you look at actual resume tho and compare them to other teams around them, you see why teams are ranked where they are.

They beat the #2, #10, #11 and #18 teams in the nation. Losses are to #8 (twice), #20, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Nebraska is their only bad loss. Seems like a legit case for a high ranking this late in the season to me.

Thats why this board is maddening sometimes.
