Michigan State open

[Chasingthirty-five]

Would think Hughes missing weight landed him here, but then not sure what happened with Jamison

[ionel]

Why on X but nothing on the web site?

[Air_Thurman]

Is there any logic behind who is wrestling unattached?

[tfpoke]

Redshirt I assume....

[Air_Thurman]

That was my thought but then wouldn't Cody be unattached?

[Dugan2035]

Freshman get 5 dates to wrestle while on redshirt.

[WrestlingFan22(Rivals)]

Also you can't wrestle unattached until second semester as a freshman

[Harleycowboy]

This could be a fantastic weekend with so many Cowboy wrestlers competing in these 2 tournaments. Rarely have we had this opportunity to see starters and so many future potential starters wrestling in these 2 tournaments. Also, it appears both tournaments will be on flow and I will be able to see so many matches. I hope to see great wrestling by many of the Cowboys.

[Harleycowboy]

Well, it seems we won't have 2 tournaments this weekend. I will watch some of the Michigan State Tournament. No surprise but I will especially be watching 133 Hughes, 141 Jamison, 184 Thompson, and 197 Merrill. Their development seems most important to our present and especially our future.

"Well, it seems we won't have 2 tournaments this weekend."

Info?

[Chasingthirty-five]

Journeyman removed our logo from their tweet showing all the schools this morning. Us and PSU

[ionel]

Not surprised.

[DEWrestlingFan]

Gonna be great to see some OK State wrestlers on the mat today at this tournament. Ready to see the progress this team has made!

[Fatty J]

I wish ESPN+ would start picking up more wrestling tournaments and duels.

[Old Number Nine]

I just noticed that ESPN+ has our duel with ASU listed as upcoming

[Fatty J]

Looks like 7 of our duals will be on ESPN+.

Wyoming
Arizona State
Virginia Tech
Air Force
NC State
West Virginia
Missouri

Looks like Hughes and Blankenship are in the bracket.

[CowboyMedic]

Burton 141 on Mat 9 now.

[Poke90]

What is the best way to track OSU wrestlers on Flo?

[CowboyMedic]

141 - Burton with an 18-2 TF

[CowboyMedic]

@Poke1990, go to www.Trackwrestling.com

[FourCornersCowboy]

How are you guys tracking the mats?

[DEWrestlingFan]

Track Hub, on the left click on dashboard.

[FourCornersCowboy]

Had it on the tv so using my phone to track the mats. Can’t believe I sold out and finally got my own Flo subscription.

[CowboyMedic]

125 - Smith with a 2nd Period FALL.

[CowboyMedic]

133 - Hughes with a 21-3 TF.

[CowboyMedic]

We're wearing solid black singlets, any particular reason why?

[CowboyMedic]

141 - Jamison with a 15-4 MD

[chasepollard]

Orange singlets are earned!

[CowboyMedic]

Missed the end of the Sheets matches at 149 due to technical issues on Flo's end. He was down 6-3 with 30 seconds left in the 3rd but had RT.

[CowboyMedic]

133 - McComas with a 9-3 DEC in SV1.

Flo is sucking today.

[CowboyMedic]

Fish is on Mat 1 but Flo is having HUGE issues at the moment with certain mats.

[CowboyMedic]

165 - Fish win 10-2 MD.

FU Flo!

[Harleycowboy]

Cael had 6 takedowns, and 2 easy escapes. Most of the takedowns were off Cael shots and a couple were off his opponent's shots. Hughes looked very solid and did not seem to have any conditioning problems but when you are dominant conditioning usually doesn't come into play. Good match.
