From what I’m told Schlissel is willing to weaponize the Michigan-Ohio State game as a threat to keep the Big Ten home this October, believing the league wouldn’t dare move forward without The Game. Thus losing hundreds of millions of dollars for member institutions while watching 76 other FBS teams play college football.

Makes me sick. The businesses and industries that will be decimated because of his decision can’t really be measured.

I am putting my hatred for Iowa on hold and putting it all towards Bitchigan

Call his bluff. The league is more important than one game in one year. Ohio State has won 15 of the last 16 in that series. It's not particularly competitive anymore.

I said Jim is relieved that he’s not going to lose to Ohio st again. I bet the Buckeyes aren’t going to give Michigan any slack. And I’m sure chicken will be a mild word to call them

Not a Harbaugh fan, but wasn't he pretty much the second-most vocal coach in support of playing?

Where are the other coaches? Where are the other presidents and athletic directors? The more people play Find the Villain, the more they all get away with being completely unaccountable.

Iowa fans maybe be drunk, egotistical, delusional morons who overpay mediocre football coaches and basketball coaches with anger management issues, but they can take pride they're not Michigan.

Harbaugh is the kind of guy that would walk away from the job if Schlissel does this. I'm not a big fan of his, but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would put up with that kind of BS and give the university elites a middle finger on his way out.

Schlissel absolutely hates, I'm using the word hate here (shoutout for "As Good As It Gets" fans) the current guy occupying the the 1600 PA Ave address.

Here are some comments in a few different emails he wrote after the last big event around November of 2016..."I would feel awful if Trump won the election and I was too afraid of appearing political to make any effort to encourage our students to thoughtfully participate. I’m willing to accept the criticism since I think its very important.” .....and more....."“I am torn on recommendations for appointees since I can’t imagine lending one’s name to a Trump administration,” he wrote."

Michigan fought for a year to keep his emails showing his disdain for Trump hidden before eventually losing a FOIA request and relenting.

One of the first things he did after he got his current job..."One of Schlissel’s first acts as president was a $400,000 effort to move a single tree out of the way of a construction project, right as tuition and fees were being hiked."

I could go on and on......the guy is an intolerant pile of crap and if you spend just a few minutes reading about his disdain for the big guy, there is no way you could convince any reasonable person he doesn't have some ulterior motives. Out of touch elitist at his finest.

No one gives 2 craps if that game is not played. Let Michigan sit at home and soak in the ridicule of every college football fan and player. He will soon be out of work.

And the big 10 still is trying to convince the fans the reason for canceling the season is for the safety of the players. I smell a rat and it’s dead carcass is really starting to get ripe

Funny how quiet how Howard been recently for opening his big fat trap..

Hay Howard, if Michigan doesn’t want to play football maybe you should leave the conference and find another conference that doesn’t want to play..

Yes shitzle is playing politics. Why is the U of M BOR getting a pass here? Arent they the ones allowing this? Are they not elected officials? I would deliver my message to those capable/culpable folks that can make change. Havent seen much directed at them to this point.

you're exaggerating. there will be very few, if any, businesses and certainly no industries that will go out of business because of 1 fb season that was pushed back a few months. even if it was totally cancelled most everyone would survive and be there next year. and you can measure it because they will mostly all be there. you are peddling an exaggerated narrative. if you dont agree thats fine. we can just wait until next fall and see that all those businesses will be welcoming back fb fans and all industries are still working. you are letting your personal emotions and obsession with a game overwhelm your intelligence

The Big Ten has been around for 124 years, 0 without Michigan.

... Okay, that doesn't really work in this case.

Seriously I’m afraid it’s exactly what you get when you let the liberals run ANYTHING?
It’s all politics because they hate that Trump isnt a socialist, and they didn’t get some limp wristed rinse and repeat Repub candidate to rollover.

Give me an example of anything that they’ve made an accomplishment with ,or for ? unfortunately there isn’t anything. when will people realize it’s a party of destruction?

and don’t get me wrong, the repubs have zero spines!!! They are an accomplice in many instances.

exceptions Jordon ,Gaetz ,Paul ....and 2 more.

My respect for OSU is much greater and let's face it they are the premier program in the conference. Michigan can sit it out for all I care. The Hawkeyes would be forced to sit it out while Iowa State plays, and that does not go over well. Make it a one division conference and get onto the field.

He's an elitist Ivy League and Berkley product. We should expect nothing else. He's a moron. Our educational system from K through college has become an indoctrination program for the left.

enrollment in universities are, correct me if I’m wrong, entirely voluntary.

these elite universities have endowments in the billions - they must be doing something right

there are alternatives like Liberty for those so inclined

I propose you change your screen name to atg321...

You always choose to go against the grain. Now please don’t think I’m starting something here... just making an observation. It would serve you better than jlb, in my opinion.
