Credit to Michigan. They were better than us both times.

We do need recruits -- especially those that can put that round orange thingy through the orange loop. The lack of those folks finally caught up with the team. Next year's class looks to be all projects so no immediate help. Need to hit the transfer portal for a consistent shooter.

On to next game.

Michigan is full of corn-fed cornballs. We shot ourselves in the foot and the refs gave a nice assist.

The WBB and WSoccer team beat them so we do win occasionally in other sports ... of course WBB lost as well and WSoccer lost to them in B1G tourney at home.

However the games went, you can make every excuse, but the bottom line is when a team beats you twice in the same season, it’s hard to say anything other than they’re better than you.

Even without Livers. Need higher level recruits.
Sorry, but I disagree with you, especially tonight. We had them where we wanted up nine, and then choked the game away. Not because they were more talented. But because we suddenly pressed and couldn't hit our shots. And then when we started missing, we tried to force bad shots. Tonight they didn't beat us. We beat us.

Howard did NOT out coach Pikiell. Martelli did. But so did our kids because after we went up 9 we suddenly froze and couldn't hit a damn shot.

Yes they are. Had them at -6 and they covered. We will beat MD however. Everyone loves Geo and most think he was pretty good tonight. He was not - turned the ball over at really key times and not a great defender.

First half, Geo was terrific. Second half, he got beat too many times on dribble drives and also when he had the chance to score inside, he tried kicking it out and made three really bad passes that led to points on the other end.

Not really terrific first half - had three turnovers and got beat on a back door cut. He's been getting beat off the dribble all year long. He really can't cover elite guards, and while I think he's a good shooter his stats on the year don't show it. I think Geo would be a nice spark off the bench on a good team. If we're looking next year for him to be our main guy then I don't think we will be as good as we are this year.

Michigan beat us, played great D. We just helped them by playing selfish after the 9 point lead. Need to play like we did against Illinois, drive, make the extra pass, or drive and kick out. We just didn't do that tonight, and credit Michigan for getting us to play their game.

Sorry, but you're wrong. I said what I said and was brutally honest about Geo in the second half. In the first half he was terrific. You're not going to be perfect on D every time. He was more than fine the first half. It was the second half where he made several boneheaded plays.

I still don’t even know what happened out there tonight. How does a team up by 9 that looked like they were to ready to deliver a knock out punch, just go into a complete shell on offense for the final 15 mins? Aside from going with a really big lineup, Michigan didn’t do anything special in the 2nd half to account for RU’s ice cold shooting. Missing wide open threes, missing shots in the paint, at the rim. Yeah, geo was sloppy with the ball but he was hardly the reason everyone missed all their shots.

Geo threw the ball way 4 times.. anyone else would get absolutely hammered by all for that

he was the only one that had a pulse tonight, he certainly didnt have a great game at all...but considering the rest of the team were pretty much total no shows, I would say Geo was our best player tonight

I don't know why we did not see more Geo shots while Michigan was building its lead. But you are probably correct.

Have to agree on the OP. I was fooled twice vs Michigan.. I just don't understand the lack of consistency in even style of play on our part.

Howard will be 65 and Martelli will be in the grave and some of you unhinged lunatics will still be trying to diminish everything he does.
