Not true. They are a bubble team like us and only have 15 wins right now. We want bubble teams to loseMichigan losing does nothing for us tbh. We had our chance to prove our resume against there’s and we lost.
Not to mention they lost to Illinois. It’s an irrelevant loss for them
Michigan might be a bubble team but they have one of the most talented teams in the Big Ten and a good NET ranking. Not true. They are a bubble team like us and only have 15 wins right now. We want bubble teams to lose
But if they loose out they can kiss it goodbye. Analytics. We beat Illinois, they list.Michigan might be a bubble team but they have one of the most talented teams in the Big Ten and a good NET ranking.

It’s human nature. We also have a win against them, recency does not matter. When you compare their resume with ours, that's what's going to matter. Win at Indiana, and that adds one more Q1.
And we were 1-1 against them.Michigan might be a bubble team but they have one of the most talented teams in the Big Ten and a good NET ranking.

Is that good for us?tOSU down 14 to Maryland with 3 minutes left.
Eh … Michigan has literally never been a “Blue Blood,” and the term is meaningless if it still applies to Indiana, lol.UM and IU are blue bloods. We are a Rutgers
It’s human nature.
The committee is going to review the B1G teams on the fence and they’ll decide between us, UMich, and Indiana. They’re going to look at our matchups regardless of the BS they feed the public.
Michigan has lots of banners hanging from the rafters that tells me that the basketball program has been successful for decades,Eh … Michigan has literally never been a “Blue Blood,” and the term is meaningless if it still applies to Indiana, lol.

So do Illinois, Maryland and Purdue, but none are “Blue Bloods,” at least IMO.Michigan has lots of banners hanging from the rafters that tells me that the basketball program has been successful for decades,
I haven't yet figured it out, since we beat them and it helps our SOS re: NET. The inside would be them needing to play more games in the B1G tourney. Is that good for us?

Hmmm.. this si a tough one.. my gut says a bubble where michigan and rutgers are the last two bubble teams for one spot is not good for rutgers.. but maybe Juwan Howard's meltdowns would be the deciding factor. That is, the "product" people would vote for the big name "product".. Michigan.. but maybe there are other concerns for other committee members.... and, no, I do not buy that the numbers mean everything.. I think there is favor-trading in the process as well as taking care of the TV people/advertisers' interests. But if they loose out they can kiss it goodbye. Analytics. We beat Illinois, they list.

If Michigan loses out (actually a strong possibility), then just beating Indiana should put us in (11-9, top half finish in B1G)Michigan will likely lose out, and that will be that. They have a tough schedule ahead. We need to win our two to solidify our spot.
