Michigan losing does nothing for us tbh. We had our chance to prove our resume against there’s and we lost.
Not to mention they lost to Illinois. It’s an irrelevant loss for them

Not true. They are a bubble team like us and only have 15 wins right now. We want bubble teams to lose
Michigan might be a bubble team but they have one of the most talented teams in the Big Ten and a good NET ranking.
But if they loose out they can kiss it goodbye. Analytics. We beat Illinois, they list.
We also have a win against them, recency does not matter. When you compare their resume with ours, that's what's going to matter. Win at Indiana, and that adds one more Q1.
Its a big loss for Michigan 15-12 is not a good mark. They will not get a bid if only 2 games above .500
16-14 entering the Big 10 tourney is not good for them
And they still have MSU, Iowa and Ohio St. They are anything but a lock to get in ahead of us, especially since we split with them

The committee is going to review the B1G teams on the fence and they’ll decide between us, UMich, and Indiana. They’re going to look at our matchups regardless of the BS they feed the public.

Rutgers NCAA chances are better if Michigan doesn't live up to the talent they supposedly have
Beating the Fighting Illini would have improved their chances over RU's hope of an invite.
Now it's up to how both programs play their remaining games to have a shot.
Either team could take the invite over the other and the Wolverines losing today puts a dent in that .
Just like RU's loss to the Boilermakers hurt getting an edge on Michigan when it comes to a tourney bid.

We still need to win but any bubble team that loses at this point is good for us, especially if it’s a BIG10 bubble team.
We split with both Illinois and Michigan so its a wash with schedule

Hmmm.. this si a tough one.. my gut says a bubble where michigan and rutgers are the last two bubble teams for one spot is not good for rutgers.. but maybe Juwan Howard's meltdowns would be the deciding factor. That is, the "product" people would vote for the big name "product".. Michigan.. but maybe there are other concerns for other committee members.... and, no, I do not buy that the numbers mean everything.. I think there is favor-trading in the process as well as taking care of the TV people/advertisers' interests.
Michigan losing is great because it bumps us ahead of them in the B1G standings, back to 7th. Have to finish top-half of the B1G. The next 2 teams behind us are Michigan and Indiana. Finishing ahead of them in the B1G standings is huge for NCAA hopes

If Michigan loses out (actually a strong possibility), then just beating Indiana should put us in (11-9, top half finish in B1G)
