1. Would you want Pike or Martell coaching your team tonight.?
2 . If they double team Paul, he will find the open player
3. We have been playing better since we last beat them
4. Them being short handed is a plus.
5. We have learned how to get out of the gate better
6. Caleb will control whoever is their best shooter
7. Our bench improves each game
8+++**

For the season, Pike.

For one game, on adrenaline, with hyperfocus, anything can happen.
It's a wild card.

Absent the events of the last few days, I am confident we win as we are simply the better team. I have seen teams rally and do things for one night that they are not capable of on a night in night out basis. And who knows how this may distract or impact our team. I truly don't know what will happen. I remain optimistic with real uncertainty.

Just a point. 4 times in the last 2 years we were a different team. There always is a narrative why we are playing better than we did when we were losing.

Yeboah major part of the rotation OR

Team back to playing defense OR

Benching Young and Mathis getting them disciplined in half court OR

Changing rotation reducing minutes for some

Now we have Paul is different (legitimate)

between each of these reasons for improved play was a slump.

Another factor to consider is that Martelli may second-guess himself at times, knowing Juwan will be watching. In getting beat by RU tonight, Phil will incur the wrath of Howard who will be questioning his every move after every game.

I just go back to new Paul bringing a more reliable repeatable game. Dumps to Cliff will be dunks. Paul 5 to 8 footers and layups will all always be high percentage looks

New Paul spaces the floor and gives us more better open high percentage 3s

Cliff has developed. Paul has developed. Dean has developed. They might have off games but they are different players now. Their floors are higher

Repeatable offense is the key. It can be as effective on the road as a repeatable defense.
