Huskers with 6 turnovers early. This is about as ugly a start as we could have. Michigan hitting 3's too. Jordy comes in to give a spark off the bench tho.

So many things wrong with this team, so little time to post.
1) 3 pt defense (obvious)
2) Can't give playing time to guys who are literally not an offensive threat. I won't use names but it's obvious we have a guard playing who can't hit a jump shot, and every team we play knows it. He really can't hit a layup either.

It's now 39-19... does Miles really survive the way this season is ending?????

A can only surmise that he had to sit the last 10 minutes because Michigan "went small." So what is the point of having a 7-footer if the opposing coach can make you remove him from the game anytime he wants?

Haven't said much, because I have always been pretty indifferent to UNL basketball, but I can't fathom how you keep Miles. they are a mess. Without Webster you are back at square one next year. There is no one on the returning roster who can consistently compete against the top half of the Big Ten. It hasn't worked the first five seasons. Might as well hit reset and take a shot with someone else, IMO.

Roby needs to play more. He is a potential match up problem. He took it to the hoop after a predictable 3 man weave and made it look nice. But I guess he doesn't play D well enough?

Problem is, he seldom looks for his own shot for fear he will ride the pine for taking a bad shot.

They have many players who can compete, it's about putting them in a decent position to strive.

Well Michigan cooled off. Only shot 53% from 3 at half, but up to 59% from the field. Even if they cool from the outside they are getting what Nebraska doesn't get. Easy shots.

Michigan has a tendency to go Showtime when they have a big lead, so I won't be surprised if the gap closes a bit in the second half. Then we'll get to hear about this game was really, really even after that unfortunate bad start.
