I saw a Facebook post by one of his TU teammates that Michael passed away this weekend.

Great memory of his role in the comeback win against OSU and at Mizzou.

RIP Mid 40's. Didn't he get diagnosed with a brain tumor about 10 or 15 years ago?

That sucks. Will forever remember his catch against OSU in one of the greatest games I witnessed as a TU fan.

More people get brain tumors in Oklahoma than anywhere on the planet besides the Ukraine, it would seem. I've lived in Florida for 20 years. I can't say I've had one friend, client, acquaintance, or even read in the paper where somebody died of a brain tumor here in Florida. I've heard about four, just in the Tulsa area, in the last six months, including some close friends.
