The wide spacing I saw tonight both from Duke and Notre Dame looks so different than our offense. And, neither Duke nor ND have players any more talented than our own.
Duke does, they just aren’t playing like it yet minus filopowski

Thats not true. You guys dont deserve a solid UK team as you all are full of ish!
I never said Michigan state was bad, I said they were bang average, which means they aren’t great, Kentucky shouldn’t have lost that game and cal got massively outcoached by izzo. And why don’t we deserve a good team, we criticize because we know what Kentucky can and should be, and what is going on now ain’t it

I know state is down 2 key player but come on man. Notre Dame lost to St Bonaventure by double digits and beat Lipscomb by 1 point. Michigan State is not very good. They struggle to score the ball even when healthy and they’re average on defense. We’re going to get better but For w/e reason we weren’t prepared for the start of the season yet again and it costs us a seed line every single year now.

They have no depth at all, so being down two starters is a really big deal. Kentucky shouldn’t of lost to them regardless, but at full strength they’re not a bad team.

Spacing and laziness to fight through screens are huge problems - we looked no different in those regards against Bellarmine than we have against State or Gonzaga...

WTF has Cal been working on in practice? Tweaking his screams?

that is the proble
It’s not hard to run an offense for this team. Spread the floor, 4 out with Oscar down low. MODERN offense.
that is the problem MODERN offense

ccc has no clue
any high school coach would get the ball to his best player as much as possible

Right now most any team would love to play Kentucky because they know they have a good chance to win the game. Beating Kentucky still carries a lot of weight.

I mean, we can't say much, ND has had our number the last 3 times we have played them and it's sickening, because we just play like turds whenever we play them.

They've been the same slow ***, non athletic white boy laden team for 5 years now, but for whatever reason, we leave them wide open from the outside and struggle to score. It's like our guys filled their shoes with concrete just before the game started.
We did the same thing with MSU, the slowest guy on the vourt was Joey Hauser and we couldn't guard him, he was wide open all night.
I don't get it.

Brey can coach enough to topple the screamer...damn near lost to him in 2015, before Bo neutered him the next game...how sad is it to be owned by this?

Notre Dame is SLOOOOOOWWWW and UN-ATHLETIC, yet they are leading Sparty by 16.

Can't believe Cal let them come back and beat us. Wait a munute, YES I CAN!!!

SAD
ND coach has always been pretty good. Several coaches like him can take 3 stars and do very well because of the coaching part.

Teams with little depth are never gonna have success when down a starter or two. Doesn't change the fact UK had no business losing to MSU regardless.

People would still be bitching just to ***** but if UK hangs on to win that game things aren't as crazy right now. Don't get me wrong, the Gonzaga game still would have been a big point of contention but fans would be more confident heading into michigan and ucla games at least.

Was not only the fact they lost, but the fashion in which they lost...looks a wee bit too familiar, in regards to nothing at all has changed...we are still clearly led by a jackass from last century who knows he's wearing a golden parachute.

Substitution patterns were devoid of reason and bizarre like a fool grasping for straws. Then he is out coached at home by Davenport, who if had any depth, could have easily been the latest home court debacle...

Michigan St is 5-3 (with a UK win). They'll finish their typical 10-ish losses they always do under Izzo.

Stupid to lose that game....but that is what Cal is allowed to do.

ND hit threes at an incredible rate in the first half. One guy hit 5-5 and I think the team was 8-13. Most teams would have lost to ND last night.

Or would have pushed up on them and force them to basket on one end....
The other end you have a decided advantage in size and speed as well.
