Interesting matchup for Big Ten Tournament seeding implications on Wednesday. If OSU wins, they'll move into 3rd place. If Michigan wins, they'll stay in the 3rd spot.

The winner would be Iowa's most likely opponent in the semifinals if we win our first tourney game. (Both OSU and Michigan have tough regular season finales though, so there could be additional movement.) Both will be looking for revenge from bad showings in Carver.

Which one would everyone prefer to see in the tournament?

I would rather see Ohio State, but first we probably have to get by a motivated Maryland team in the quarterfinals. I expect it will be Michigan either way. Ohio State still has another tough final regular season game at Michigan State.

Michigan also has Maryland to end the season. Maryland hasn't lost in February, with a couple big wins over MSU and OSU in that stretch. Maryland could get themselves up to the 6 seed with a strong finish.

We’re either looking at possibly playing Maryland or USC if we get the 2.. that’ll be tough before we even get to a possible 2/3 matchup.

USC won't get up to 7. They lost head-to-head to both MSU and Maryland. And they still have to play UCLA again.

The 6-7 spot is between MSU and Maryland. Maryland has the tie-break.

Could be Michigan State as well. Whatever happens, Iowa will undoubtedly play a hungry opponent looking to move up and who already had a game the day before.

No matter the opponent, the first BTT opponent that Iowa faces will be a good one on a neutral court, likely a much tougher out than whomever they will face at home in the first 2 rounds of the NCAA.

All they had to do was inbound the ball, but messed up, and then Michigan called with the phantom foul on an awkward heave at the rim. Cambridge hits all three to tie it with a second on the clock. OT.

Wow Syla Swords hits the go ahead three with 11 seconds left as the shot clock was expiring.

After Ohio St misses a wide open three to tie. Cambridge steals the inbounds, gets fouled shooting a 3, and makes them all with 0.6 seconds left.

Going to OT tied 74-74

I thought OSU got a lot of home calls to get them into OT. Both teams with multiple chances to win. Thought OSU got the last shot, but the crowd seemed to know it was too late by a fraction.

Not looking forward to the rematch with either team.

It was #8 Michigan at #13 Ohio State. Big game; should be lots of interest, where ticket sales should be really good....Right?

Well, the announced attendance (total tickets sold & distributed) was just 6,663.

Actual butts in the seats (scanned tickets) is always less.
