True, but even if Riley & his staff were still here I think the chances of him signing with Nebraska was pretty slim.

Riley put a lot of guys in the NFL over the years despite his teams not really accomplishing much on the college field. Maybe that is the type of coach he wants?

We can come back to this thread after his Junior season when he decides to not play in a bowl game and leaves his team to get ready for the draft. Would not surprise me one bit. He will make the statement at the combine that he does not want to get drafted by the Chargers, but they are one of the top teams he would be willing to play for.

The double talk is strong with this one.... He isn't interested in Nebraska but he has the new Florida staff coming in? Nebraska is one of my top schools..... BUT I am not considering them.....

Would love to have him but don't blame him. Most of the staffs he's communicating with have been recruiting him probably for 2+ years. I have a feeling Frost and his staff had very little communication with him just assuming UCF was not a viable option for him. Trying to create that kind of relationship with him in 2 months instead of 2 years is virtually impossible. He could've said it clearer but seems like a completely reasonable, rational decision.
