A game like this is why UGA fans were tired of Mark Richt. Always one WTF game every year.

"Miami Florida just lost to Pitt but it will not affect their chances of making the playoffs. If Miami beats Clemson next week, a one loss ACC champ Miami will get into the playoffs."
This is a typical Pitt team. They have enough talent to beat any one but are so poorly coached that they lose to teams like a 3-8 North Carolina.
Ummm.......... if u haven’t paid attention. The only thing that was holding Pitt back this year was a QB and a defense that has mostly freshman and Sophomores. The defense got better as the season went on and Pitt found their QB for the future the last 2 games. Can’t wait to see them play Penn st next year after Penn st loses Barkley and their whole defense lol
Pitt two times in recent memory screwed over their conference.
The Big East would've benefited so much more if Pitt laid down to WVU, and now they screw the ACC and Miami.

LSU fans still congratulate Pitt fans for that up set win against WVU. That game really did screw the Big East at that time
The Qb did not cost them the UNC or win this game. Dinucci could have made that TD Run. Their defense cost them more games then the Quarterback. Throwing for 187 yards is not lighting the world on fire.
Penn State doesn’t lose the whole defense. If you include John Reid who started all last season but was out this season Penn State returns 7 starters defense. Barkley is a loss but there is talent behind him. Penn State returns 14 starters next year so it not a ton of players. PItt returns 17 or 16 if Whitehead leaves early which many think he will. In addition while PItt is sitting home Penn State underclassmen will be getting additional reps and practice for a bowl game.
stuck at work so didn't get to watch but just wondering if weather was a factor here? Miami playing its last game in Pittsburgh in late November is not something I'm sure they were looking forward to
Nice to see UM lose - never could stand them and I've always kind of liked Pitt -probably my favorite fanbase from the old BE days. Them or WVU.
When I tuned-in my first impression was that Miami looked cold (clapping/rubbing their hands) but it wasn't a frosty breath game. Probably just a post Thanksgiving trap game for the convicts

For a late November game in Pittsburgh Miami couldn’t have asked for better weather. Sunny, high 40’s low 50’s throughout the game.

Lost our starting QB in the 4th game of the season to a broken shoulder and had our 2-star back up play in games 4 through 10.
Then Narduzzi put in a true freshman QB who almost beat the 25th ranked VT team last week and beat the 2nd ranked team in his first start.
Can't wait until he gets some development and experience. LOL!!!!
Poorly coached Pitt, look at Miami's Rivals recruit rankings with all their 5 and 4 star players just lost to Pitt. Miami No 1 Rivals recruiting ranking in 2017.
I think Pitt with their 3 star players have a good a very good coach who can develop their recruits to play with anyone.
Penn State needs rival 5 and 4 star players to compensate for their poor coaching. LOL.
I think Kenny Pickett should have been rated a 5-star QB based upon his performance last week and this week. Goes to show you can't always believe Rivals rankings.

Pitt now has 3 wins vs top 7 teams in the past two years. 13-12 overall to show for it. That is something else.
Even with your starting QB you still need overtime to beat a 6-5 Youngstown State. Even with Danicci at QB you should be able to beat a pathetic 3-8 North Carolina. You like to say Franklin such a poor coach yet even at Vanderbilt without 4 or 5 star recruits he managed to have too 25 seasons and a better record then Narduzzi. What you excuse for Narduzzi managing to lose 5 games each of the past two years? If he so great at developing talent why is PItt staying home this bowl season? I know Pitt always has the next year motto.
Most teams have one WTF game a year. Very difficult to get college kids to play consistently for 13 games.
Pitt was nothing but class after EL was injured. Always root for them to beat anybody but RU.

I had to spend thanksgiving in the Poconos, at my brother in laws. I’m highly allergic to cats. They failed to inform they would have 3 cats there.

Pitt has one of the youngest teams in college football. The defense was improving as the year progressed and culminated in limiting Miami to just fourteen point.
We will return 10 players on that defense next year.
I told you about our QB problems that Pitt had to overcome this year.
Well we found our QB (Kenny Picket/freshman) for next year who was 18 of 29 for 193 yards passing and a touchdown and scored two more touchdowns (13 carries for 63 yards) with his legs. That's right Pickett accounted for 256 total yards against #2 ranked Miami.
For a True Freshman making his First Start, I would consider that pretty amazing.
Can't wait to get him some more coaching, development and experience.
By the way the last two QB who played for Pitt are now playing in the NFL (Tom Savage and Nate Peterman).
With our good QB coaching and development Kenny Pickett will be the next.
By the way how is your former Rival 5 Star QB Hackenberg doing.

"I mean, you want that out of your quarterback," Pitt offensive lineman Brian O"Neill said.
"That was probably the biggest thing for me that I saw out of him today was that one moment". I was like, "All right yes sir! (Mock salute)" "You call the shots, bro, You're running the show. And Kenny really was".
