Message from WCBI to SixPackSpeak.com...

Alright, here's the deal... next week, I'm doing a goofy feature-ish type story on State's new football uniforms for WCBI... we're going to do interviews, talk to "fashion experts" and such, and more importantly, involve SixPack heavily in the story (since uniforms are talked about a lot on here)...

So what I was looking for was an "official statement" from SixPack on the new unis... be as funny and as creative as you want (of course, still want it to be air quality)...

I really think you guys will like the story we're coming up with... SixPack will at the very least get a lot of publicity...

and they should really fill out the new unis quite well. We can see the potential for a lot of great highlight videos with AD looking sharp for his Heisman campaign. We've heard the stitching in the underarms is supposed to help a quarterback's accuracy by a minimum of 19.83%. So, we better enjoy seeing Russell in these spiffy threads for only three years.

But seriously, we like them so much that we'll be contacting Greg "Ninja" Byrne about a throwback line. Just imagine a stadium full of Jeff Walker jerseys. It's a look that says, "I'm an MSU fan and I'll kick your balls and bust your wedge!"

and make these uniforms with the real MSU maroon color , instead of some some of the MSU apparel you find at W-Mart & Kay-Mart that favor Alabama crimson or Ole Miss red than maroon.

This might be a good opportunity for a SixPackSpeak shout out to Jack Cristil. Something along the lines of, "The posters at Sixpackspeak.com are looking forward to hearing the legend of Mississippi States sports, Mr. Jack Cristil, describe these new uniforms on his radio broadcast."
