having said that - I don’t think Russian bots or hipsters are trying to sabotage the program nor do I see how Urbs steel work is in any way relevant to his coaching ability unless they plan to put him to work on the new facilities

Urban Meyer or Mediocrity? Hell, mediocrity would be a huge step forward for Nebraska at this point.
How many years was O'Brien at Penn State? He had major sanctions to overcome. If that is the move I wonder if it will be Callahan or Carroll.

As much as I want to see him come to Nebraska... I think the most likely scenario for Urban is Notre Dame.
Can U get the badasses into ND?? Seems like an outside shot at best to me, for the same reason Kelly left...plus I don't think the coach is going anywhere unless the wheels just absolutely fall off.
Depends how their season goes. Probably not but it's not certain Meyer wouldn't wait a year of two for the right job to open...
I should have worded my comment better.. it may be a few years down the road. But I think Meyer would jump at the chance to go to ND
I find it ironic that there are so many morally outraged NU fans that can't accept the idea of hiring Meyer, while these same fans will assume that a Catholic school will jump at the chance. Bottom line, if you want a good coach you go hire them. Meyer's personal flaws are very minor in the scheme of things.
