It has been a rough few weeks at our house... 3 deaths of loved ones, one very unexpected... but we still ultimately feel blessed by our savior and trust the heavenly plan. There are others in much greater need than us and who need OUR care not just now but year round... blessings all!

Prayers of peace to you and your family during this time of year. Deaths in the family make it hard ti celebrate Christmas. But ultimately, that's the good news of why we celebrate Christmas.

In late November my uncle and aunt, my moms two remaking siblings, died within 6 days of each other...then 10 days ago, the mom of my state tennis champ boy died on the operating table after suffering a heart attack. In the previous two months before that, two of my good friends in coaching both died earlier than normal. Just been worn down some by it. Thank you for asking

I have lost my father and grandmother as a child. I have lost multiple friends. I have viewed it in a selfish way. Their is one less person that loves me, and one less person that I love.

I seem to find new people without forgetting my love for the ones who have preceded me. My heart still hurts, and I think about them all the time, but I still have my people. And they need my strength. Be strong.

Keep the faith, at times the good Lord challenges and test us through out our lives and ask’s is to bare the cross..

I’ll be blessing to spend time with my 90 year old parents, where a lot of people don’t have that opportunity to be with there parents as long as wished..

Thank you for your heartfelt thoughts and prayers....no need for money or help... but I am touched by the outpouring here.... but not surprised because it has always been that way.
For the newcomers, 11 years ago my 10 month old granddaughter died after a prolonged illness and this board was an incredible source of comfort and strength. I’ve seen people here be totally lifted up through their issues. I’ve made friends on here through trials of life( beyondbad Husker football☺️) and know of several who are still going through issues here.
Whew! Longer than I expected!

Especially around Christmas that always sucks, I was in your shoes 4 years ago
