Clearly a pair of 'doctored' photographs. I guess one can look at this and point out a half dozen things that are different from each of the two photographs you posted. For example, check out #44's feet in both photos, as well as multiple other differences. Then view my actual photo that hasn't been doctored.
MichiganHerd posts a pic that clearly depicts Barrett falling backwards AFTER his forward progress had been stopped. Jim Hairball's tears are delicious! The best thing about "The Game" was that the Skunk Weasels can't make the excuse that their overrated QB didn't play. The primary reason that the Skunk Bears lost is that Speight peed down his leg three times.

Do you also have a photo shopped picture of the OSU defender not wrapping his arms around the receiver in the 2nd OT, on the 3rd down play prior to Michigan having to settle for a field goal?
Gareon Conley had his arm around the receiver's waist, but didn't turn him before the ball arrived. This is almost never called P.I. Keep the tears flowing, though, as I'm lapping them up! So, you were happy with Speight's pick six, and fumble at the doorstep of the end zone? (It's hard to blame Speight for the pass picked-off by Jerome Baker, as Baker made a great leaping catch.) Referees can move up through the ranks (for example, you can't do a varsity basketball game the first year you referee), and Schwarzel moved up to Division III football games in 1991. He covered games for the Ohio Conference, which includes colleges such as Marietta College and Capital University. In 1997, Schwarzel began doing MAC games, and in 2002 he refereed his first Big 10 game.
'This year, I did my first full schedule in the Big 10,' he said. Schwarzel was an Ohio State fan growing up, and said he was excited to be on the field for the Ohio State/Texas game, which featured (at the time) the top-ranked team in the country against the second-ranked team.
His crew worked the Ohio State/Michigan game, which also featured the two of the top-ranked teams. Schwarzel was not allowed to work the huge game in the past, because he is from Ohio.
