Anyone have any rental info in that area? Safety is a premium. It's pretty tough to find anything so just throwing out the question.

My parents and other family still live there. Will schools play a factor? In the county, I think West Lauderdale and Clarkdale are the better schools recently. Or Russel Christian Academy (private) or Lamar (private school).

Everyone is moving out into the county. My sister and her family bought land and built a house out in the Clarkdale area (Zero road). Further away from the city center you can get, the safer it is. Here is some crime data: https://www.neighborhoodscout.com/ms/meridian/crime
