Ragged start, but Carter is on fire with 2-3 pointers.

FIU playing man every trip and pressing full-court. It hasn't affected us so far.

Tyson is hot starting out with back to back threes. The first 10 games may be a struggle without a true PG though. Not much offensive movement so far

At least challenge some of these shots at the rim. We are playing like everyone has 4 fouls.

Raggard for sure. Girls started the same way last night but they have a very different look to them on the floor. They seem much more confident.

That being said, Carter is not a PG and we need Nick fast.

Zebras calling it waaaaay to tight for an opening game. We are going to spend most of the half shooting free throws.

Is the ball magnetized tonight? I’ve seen roughly 8 loose balls since I’ve turned it on, and every one has bounced to FIU

Same thing was happening last night. Girls were allowing breakaway layups.

They know the only chance they have is to try and get a lead early and expand it. Those legs of theirs will start getting tired in the second half.

The fact that our starting PF and C have zero combined rebounds is a bit concerning

Be nice if we could get it to Perry in the post...

Seriously, it seems he’s either high screen or on the opposite side of the play.

Anyone got the list of posters that said we’d be better without Q and Lamar?

Yep... we are getting used to life without Q. Just thank God it is early and we actually have some players to choose from this year.

Who can explain the 2 three point lines? Are the men and women playing from different depths?

I’m 37 and I’ve now seen 3 different 3 point lines for collegiate teams since I finished at State. “As always” is quite relative.

I’m not going to pretend like I know more than Howland... but DJ Stewart’s length would’ve been an excellent weapon for about 10-12 minutes a game last year playing perimeter D. Would’ve come in hand the final few minutes if the Liberty loss. We missed Nick badly in that game.

I love our team length this year. Lots of athletes.

If this team will commit to defense and limit turnovers, they have tremendous potential. Lots of length.

I thought that was defense I saw. It had been so long since I have seen it in a mens game.

Seriously though, we have some talent. We just need it all to gel come Feb and March.
