Still waiting on the Kansas scandal to resolve. Bet your a** they won't get punished just like UNC didn't.

He could’ve possibly gotten away with what he’s been doing, but during his 1st year as Memphis HC, the NCAA told him that Wiseman wasn’t eligible due to recruiting questions. Instead of doing what the NCAA demanded, Penny started James Wiseman and basically gave the NCAA the middle finger. He’s been a dead man walking ever since.

I used to love watching Penny play at Memphis State and then for the Magic. Unfortunately, like so many of my favorite college players from that era like Grant, JWill, & Hurley, injury cut his career short.

Still look back and wonder what the NBA would’ve looked like with a healthy Grant Hill, JWill and Penny 20 years later.
