Many on here, myself included, are nervous about this Memphis Game. From an RPI standpoint, I wanted to point out, if we were to lose this game it becomes our worst loss on the season (even worse than the ORU loss). Pretty eye-opening to how bad Pastner is of a coach.

Wife and I are thinking about going.

Afraid we'll jinx the win.

I'd like to troll Pastner one last time. I bet their fans would join in. We talked about going, but wouldn't get back until 1 am on Monday. Not worth it.

It's our last remaining hurdle imo. Win and we're in....lose and its NIT unless we win the conference tourney. Memphis has the talent to give us some issues especially if they have a good shooting night. They are also a mess and would likely fold the tent if they get down early.

I like that we get so much time off. We need some rest and healing time. They
have to play on Thursday.

Yes....Obviously for Smith, but also for Juice...While he has no overriding injuries,
he has taken some real hits in the last two games...

As for the Memphis game, if Dre, Marquel, and Swannegan continue their good
play, I think we will be fine.....Memphis was always given special treatment at
home by the refs in the old USA days.....I hope that hasn't carried over into the
AAC....If it's a foul fest, it usually favors the home team....

I don't think the refs cut Doogie Pastner any slack. Not only should there be a limit on how far you can walk in court, there should be a limit on how high and often you jump.

Are you saying Doogie jumps as high as that 70 year old man advertising his back inversion table. Says "I feel great" as he jumps 3 inches into the air. Lol

I'm thinking there might be a couple of players on the team that made a secret pact to do their best to lose a few games, and get Dr Doogie fired and out the door. More power to em, if so.

You can see the big improvement in Gonzaga since Dougie brought his coaching prowess to the Zags. Lol
Had no idea Freddy (am I the only one who didn't know Dougie's given name is Frederick?) got a new job

Was referencing Doogie Pastner/Memphis, but yeah Gonzaga showed an awesome improvement w/ Ojick. They should move him to Memphis/Blankenship position of Offensive Analyst, he'd do wonders with his massive prowess against junk defenses.

I have always thought when we are bringing the ball up the court we should have a player toss the ball off Pastner while he has both feet clearly on the court and see what the refs do? It is clearly a technical if someone from the bench area touches a ball while physically while on the court whether it is a sub or coach.

I could see Shaq doing this.

Memphis would do better if he was ejected. But it would fun to see what happens there.

Have Birt do it...Birt has that attitude...he'd probably get up in Pastner's mug and stare him down...."Get out of the way Ronald McDonald"...I am LMAO as I run through this scenario in my mind

Do you run a talented but undisciplined team? Usually, talented players like to
run the ball, but you have to feel in a running game, Memphis will turn it over
more than we do....

Who's their RB?

It's actually Sam Craft, who came in and started at RB, I mean PG for them.
..............
University of Memphis junior running back Sam Craft will join the Tigers basketball team after the football team's Dec. 30 appearance in the Birmingham Bowl, coach Josh Pastner said this afternoon before practice.

lol, 'doogie' Pastner is now 6-3 against mighty Tulsa...and I'd say the refs cut us a little slack ;-)
