Memphis Game Thread

[TulsaAM]

We can win this game! Go TU!! :flags:

[TU 1978]

Memphis has some ugly *** uniforms.

[TulsaGrad07]

Looks as though our win-loss record is finally militating on our home attendance. Homecoming attendance is rather bleak

Good, the city of Tulsa is making a statement

[TulsaAM]

And that is the 16th most penalized team in the country in ugly uniforms

Wish the University of Tulsa would make one as well!

[hotterthanyourhusbandTU]

Significant size and speed difference. The most significant I’ve seen at a home game in a while.

Memphis has come a long way since 2009.

I think they finally will pull the trigger this year

[URedskin54]

Looks about like every other terrible crowd of the season

[TulsaAM]

Well, that was just better athletes making plays on us. At least the extra point was a squib that barely made it over, maybe we have the kicking advantage this game.

I honestly don't know what the University Administration will do, they have been aimless since Lawless left

[JesseTU]

Well, let's go offense...

[JesseTU]

Well, let's go Defense...

[TulsaAM]

SUCCESS! Not one false start on the first series for the offense

[TulsaFan01]

Well guess the only good news is... umm.. I got my season tickets to basketball in the mail today! Hell yea boys!

[URedskin54]

Johnson would be quite a receiver if he had hands

[TulsaGrad07]

And the punt and coverage was decent. So that's a feather in the cap... (grasping at straws)

[TulsaRising1]

Very true, for a university that is supposed to have extremely intelligent people, they sure do some stupid things

[TulsaAM]

This reminds me of the Tulsa offense under Graham

[cmullinsTU]

We are terrible

[TUBixby]

Their receivers are so wide open! We look like a high school team

[hotterthanyourhusbandTU]

Gold - queue the “Post Game Thoughts” thread.

This could be an SMU-Houston score (95-21).

I’m easy going, but these Memphis fans are terrible. There’s gonna be a fight.

Tell them Oklahoma BBQ is better

[TulsaAM]

There was some blown coverage in that last drive, but I don't think we have the D-Backs to keep up with their wide outs... we are making them look NFL ready...

[TulsaAM]

And the first penalty of the game is on special teams! Who had that in the pool?

[TulsaFan01]

Have we ever pinned someone inside the 5 this season? Feels like the short lints always find the end zone..

[URedskin54]

We played man on OSU most of the game. Our guys can hang, but they're getting lost in zone coverage

[TulsaAM]

Good D Series, we can build on that...

[TulsaAM]

This offense is just bad... and I'm talking to myself. Will there even be a game thread next week? [banana]

[Gmoney4WW]

Another announcer not understanding our play calling. What's that three, four announcers questioning our play calling?

Corners settling in and the defense doing their job. Now we need the offense to manage a score.

[TulsaAM]

Refs missed a face mask, it was the ear hole but still counts

At this point, a crackhead could call plays better than Monty. I feel so, so much for this defense. Two years with a championship caliber defense have been wasted by an offense that makes an anemic sloth look like a powerhouse.

[TulsaAM]

There we go! Good blocking up front and Brooks takes off for the TD!

[URedskin54]

Great sign there. If we can run on them I like our chances

[TulsaAM]

There you go special teams!

[cmullinsTU]

Where’s this running been all year? OL looked good that series, first time all year.

[JesseTU]

Looking like a Tulsa team the last few possessions. Spotting them 14 to build Memphis' confidence was a clever move!

[TulsaFan01]

Ok Tulsa lets do this. I’m ready to get hurt again.
