We have to play better defense, & rebound better. A few of our guys are standing around watching the action, while Memphis is hustling & beating us to the ball.
We're too helter skelter on defense. Too much switching and doubling. Nobody is finding anyone to block out.
Need Shaq, James, and Birt to score. Up until the last few times down, they aren't scoring.

First shot D isn't terrible. 10 offense rebounds. In one half. Amazing. And Shaq Goodwin hasn't even played.
We apparently peaked about 4 games ago.
I didn't like our D strategy in this game. Its like we got scared after the crap ref performance in Memphis and decided to go all double and triple team. Its left us horribly out of position.

Embarrassing performance by a group of SRs. I know they have a low ceiling basketball talent-wise, but they always overcome it with effort. How do you show up with nothing tonight??? Makes no sense.
This makes me sick. How can they play this bad. Game was setup for us with Goodwin out, just play good basketball. Throw it away again and again and again. No chance we come back.
The talent difference is so apparent. No offensive strategy at all. No flow. No rebounding. Embarrassing.
My wife hasn't watched much basketball this year. She has watched the Cinci UConn highlights. The Tulane game. And this game.
Her comment was...
"Wow, Tulsa isn't very good this year at all. I thought we had lots of seniors, or was that last year?"
We've TANKED. Game over. No way we deserve an NCAA at large. Going out like this makes it hard to motivate myself to go watch an NIT game.
Wife trying to talk me into the hot tub instead of watching second half. Having trouble coming up with arguments. Pissed. I don't mind losing, but just melting and being embarrassed by a crap Memphis team? Pissed.

If Haith doesn't light a fire under these guys a half then let's not play again even if invited to the NIT. These guys are showing zero heart. No hustle no effort. Woodard loafed early after he turned it over and no one on Tulsa is making an effort to turn it around.

Amazingly, we were out hustled by a lot in the first half. 20 minutes left to prove we want it. It may already be too late.
I waited all week for this? Pathetic. You'd think we were throwing out all freshmen out there instead of 9 seniors. They should be ashamed and embarrassed
Good thing we didn't come into this game on the bubble with potential to get an at large or anything. SMH
I expect Juice, Shaq and crew to come out the second half and play the best half of ball all year. Desperation time and these seniors know it. We win by 5.
The talent difference is there just about every game we play. We have little basketball talent. That's not an issue at this point. We usually overcome it with great collective effort. To see a team with 9 Sr's that usually play so cool and collected, completely meltdown was shocking. Hence all the posts
We shall see if these guys have some fight left. We have shown it at times this year.
