Memphis game ref and Arkansas game ref: Same guy?

Heard yesterday that the back judge that waved the downed punt play dead (but let the plan continue for a Memphis score) and the back judge that threw the defensive holding 4th and 1 flag at Arkansas is the same guy.

Any way to know if this is true?

Geez who cares, both games are long over, results can’t be changed. If we hadn’t put ourselves in those positions at both games we’d have one. No scoring in the 3rd quarter at Memphis along with some questionable play calling on the goal line. Three FGS missed and zero scoring on our first 3 drives at Arkansas. Sorry but referees make either bad or questionable calls in most games but poor us we’re always singled out. Down vote away

Matt Hollifield was the back judge in the Memphis game. He's been stricken from all official stats everywhere for the game. How wild is that.

Not the same back judge but the same umpire. Which is still interesting that he was there both times.
