I have many great stories I might post several but here is a good one . I wrestled in college my mom dad made all the meets it was pretty good time , I was teaching coaching my 1st or 2nd year out of college some buddies decided to go to old timers meet about hour from parents. I am warming up look over and in walks the old man, I said what are you doing here he says just didn’t seem right you wrestling and me not being there , and besides who is going to buy supper if I couldn’t make it lol. on father's day I look fondly on how many people logon to this board for the sole purpose of taking a dump on their favorite team

just like their fathers before them and their fathers before them

Everybody that still has they're father around. Cherish every moment you have with them. My father passed away when I was 18. That was over 20 years ago and I still miss him every day.

My dad wasn’t perfect, but he never beat us or mom. He wasn’t a drunk. Wasn’t rich. He was simply my dad. Growing up he was always there for advice. And working with him he was always right. Even though he’s passed on he’s still right. In his last years of life we as his kids took care of him and mom. When we no longer could manage we moved them to a nursing home. He was a retired farmer and he really didn’t like going but after awhile he didn’t complain. The last time I saw him he didn’t recognize me. But he was still my dad. I wouldn’t have traded him for all the money in the world.
