The one's I have discussed it with that like Trump are ignoring his flaws for the greater good he will supposedly bring. They've bought the con.
I dont think it is necessarily buying the con. I see what trump is and I dont agree with everything he does but I will ultimately vote for him because he is the best option for me.

Why is it necessary for the spouse of a POTUS candidate to give a speech anyway? What's the point? I lot of this stuff is just silly.
So when Bill speaks for Hillary you going to say it was silly? I can't wait for his speech to watch the leftist here gush orgasmically and complain they ran out of lotion.

You talkin bout this guy?

LOL!

I think his Mom might have had a one-night stand with Trump in the late 60's. There's no denying that hair.

He, Trump, and theTV preacher Benny Hinn ought to head butt each other at the same time to see if it if their hair locks up like Velcro.

I'm not going to assume Mrs. Trump is the one at fault. Someone is at fault though. I couldn't embed the CNN video, but the link is below.

politics/2016/07/19/melania-trump-michelle-obama-speech-similarities-side-by-side-sots.cnn

Trump is running this campaign with a relatively small staff. A lot of speech writers/checkers are young. To a say 26 year old, 2008 was eons ago. With a minimal staff it might have slipped by unnoticed further up the chain due to the an abnormal amount of work Trumps skeleton staff is having to do. Mrs. Trump's coaches would have been too focused on getting her ready for the speech to notice anything was off in the text.

The killer is if hadn't pissed of the party hierarchy, he would have access to it's full resource of staff and researchers provided by the GOP. It's very likely that the Obama sections get caught and edited. The GOP has staff that has been working Presidential campaigns since the 70's. With that depth of knowledge the speech's content would have surely rang a bell with someone as it went up the chain.

The convention's are the 8 big nights of the election cycle. Trump has lost a day and half due to this blow up

I tuned in for a laugh...and Jr's talking about hangin' sheet rock or concrete (he's confused apparently), Ben Carson chatting about Lucifer (man has this guy ever gone off the deep end) , fittingly followed up by some soap opera actress that nobody cares about....oops supposedly she's a farmer...And he found a couple of 'American Muslims for Trump'? How much did he pay this guy? Seriously???This is who the Great Almighty brings to the table? Thank goodness I missed Charles in Charge last night....I can't wait for Hillary's nonsense down the road...see if she can match this idiot brigade...

How would voting libertarian help? Do they teach new math in Canada?

A libertarian vote is a vote for Hillary. No way trump is a worse option than she is.

Well given a coin flip between the two I'd almost prefer it landed standing on edge...but then I am simply an interested bystander...with trade skin in the game...thus it matters ....

Unless you donated to the Clinton Foundation your interest is wasted.

That ticket is pulling fairly equally from both D's and R's according to polling that I've seen. This election is set up perfectly for a third party win if people will drop the idea that it is a wasted vote. That's only true if we allow it to be. Both major party candidates have disapproval numbers in the 60% range. Both parties have pushed their platforms to the extreme sides. This should be ripe picking for someone in the middle, and that's the Libertarian ticket this time around.

Your vote is your choice. I'm not trying to tell you that you have to vote third party. If you feel better represented by Trump than any other candidate, by all means cast your vote for him. I just don't like the logic that third party is not viable. That mentality is the only thing making it not viable.

I write it very rarely but when I see somebody expressing an honest opinion and standing up for it, I say it. Dave's recent comments are very respectable in his comments supporting Trump and the reason why. Some of you other whackos should also be as honest.

There is no honor or respect in supporting or voting for Trump, period. I can see anyone despising Clinton, but still, there is no honor in supporting what he stands for.

And Johnson is the only option for me.

I know it probably won't matter in WV, but I will not vote for a man I don't want to see become President, just like I will not vote for a woman I don't want to see become President. I'm voting for someone who's believes more closely align with my own, and who I see a sense of honesty and integrity in.

You may be true but I was not talking in those terms. I acknowledged being honest with himself with his viewpoint regardless if I view his opinion as being a poor decision. Two different things.

And there's no honor in supporting who she is. Lie to yourself all you want.

1) I never said I supported Clinton. In fact, I think I said I understand the despise for Clinton. Work on reading comprehension.
2) I would change the subject too.

"There is no honor or respect in supporting or voting for Trump, period."

There is no honor or respect in support of voting for Clinton, period.

Feel better now, or should have I broken out the crayons for you to understand the implied.

may not be any honor in voting for Clinton, Trump or Johnson. There is honor for voting for either as long as one is honest about the reason why they make the decision they make, imo

I can agree with that.
