back to the Medicare for All, discussion. Bernie Sanders bill that doesn't have much support eliminates private insurance. I don't know much about the details of that bill but Medicare as it stands, doesn't cover everything people need with their coverage. People have to buy Supplemental to make up the gaps. Is this the "tricky" way to say they are in favor of Single Payer Government health care system?

The country's citizens are not ready for Single Payer. The Insurance Industry is a very powerful lobby and no way in heck will a bill ever get through congress. There are so many other issues with Health care costs that need to be addressed before we ever get to a Socialistic style health care program, that I can't see it ever happening any time soon.

We need real life solutions to be proposed and discussed if we are ever going to move forward at all.

But you agree the end goal is the Socialistic style health care program, right?

End goal is Universal Health Care, imo. End goal for some like Bernie Sanders, yes, I believe that is what he is striving for. And I have stated I'm not against a Single Payer system just because it is Socialistic; but until the temperature is right in the country for it, lets address what we can do to improve life of the country's residents.
