We'll see how long that lasts.... hopefully not too long. Had to throw some money on MD
On one hand I hope you win, but on the other hand if SHU wins it’s good for our SOS.

Btw if SHU were to win tonight, without their two leading scorers, that would be a heckava coaching job by Willard.

Maryland has been starting slow almost all year - but they look completely uninterested and are playing with no intensity at all. terrible game

We play Maryland twice and Seton Hall once. And our opponents play Maryland a lot more often than they play Seton Hall. So a Maryland win is much better for our SOS.
I should have referred to Quad level vs SOS. If MD stays in Quad 1 despite a loss at SHU, then wouldn’t we want SHU to win tonight so they have a chance to be at least a Quad 2 win for us?

If SHU without it's two leading scorers beats Maryland, I'd say that was a heckava coaching job by Pike last Saturday!!

Maryland may be ranked number 7 but they’re playing like number 2.

Maybe. But so many of our opponents play UMD, and some play them twice, so even if Maryland is Quad 1, a lower performing Maryland could push some of our other opponents down a quad.

Also, who knows how SH will perform this season. Even with a win over Maryland, they may not be quad 1.

At this point in the season, you just want all B10 teams to win their OOC contests. It helps our resume if we win enough league games to be in NCAA contention. Plus a stronger Big Ten will get more bids, which means more opportunity for Rutgers if we're borderline.

Maryland will come back and win but the effort level seems much better for SHU today.

Willard did us a big favor by starting Obiagu over Gill in our game. We got off to the hot start exploiting Obiagu and drawing him out on the alley oops.

How about this. We beat a top team easily. Now that team is beating another ranked team. [banana]

Looks to me that we may well be a pretty good team! :ThumbsUp

If we win a lot of games, all these other teams will be referencing Rutgers for their SOS. :CHOP:

Go Hall. They will win and not get to 60 points. Take the our bird in hand win last weekend. We need to beat Maryland once.

Turgeon is such a horrible game coach. I don’t understand why he keeps getting these high level recruits. He does less with more better than anyone since Indiana’s Tom Crean.
