I've wondered if they are waiting for clearinghouse approval of any NIL deals?Probably just ironing out the financial details.
Every recruit deserves individual time to focus on their official visit. It is a weekend designed for Addison to bond with the coaches and players. It also allows her and family to get a better look at the academic side of things. I'm sure Jan doesn't want potential recruits or commits coming in. Oh, by the way, it is Bjorn. In a perfect world - Commit tomorrow and come back to Iowa next week when Bjon is visiting to get another Hugh recruit
Interesting - Good to know -Not saying I agree or disagree..
but Harpring was at UNC during Bjorn’s visit.

A decision has not been made.We don't yet know when the announcement will happen, but three weeks after her last official visit, it's very likely that a decision has already been made by Mckenna and her family.
There is none possibility she made her decision this week and is planning the cronogram of the announcement before contacting the schools? Wow, she must be really indecisive and torn about which school to choose. It's already been 20 days.A decision has not been made.
Why the 94% lean to Iowa?:/There is none possibility she made her decision this week and is planning the cronogram of the announcement before contacting the schools? Wow, she must be really indecisive and torn about which school to choose. It's already been 20 days.
Recruitment is alive until the decision. We don't know what happened in the last three weeks, but Dawn Staley probably didn't sit around waiting for a decision to be made after OV in Iowa was such a success. McKenna herself had said a decision would be made in early September, so the change in her timeline suggests something happened in the last 20 days that left her indecisive and seriously doubtful about which school to choose. Why the 94% lean to Iowa?:/

This was an easy decision but she has made it a difficult one. $$$$$$ maybe it’s time to move on.
Not that anyone is telling you about.A decision has not been made.
Exactly. Unless someone knows the family personally, they just simply don’t know. Not that anyone is telling you about.
You are free to believe what you want. I was just trying to clear up that part of the discussion. Not that anyone is telling you about.
In my previous comment, I raised the possibility of the family keeping the decision private for a while, but that's not common. The schools are the first to know. And from that contact, leaks happen. How do you think Skim finds out before everyone else? She's certainly not family friend of all the recruits and players on the Portal. Kyle knows Carver like few others. He has excellent sources and will be one of the first to know.Exactly. Unless someone knows the family personally, they just simply don’t know.
South Carolina does not have more money than Iowa. I don’t know about Connecticut. Both of those schools win, a lot.I hope it doesn’t come down to $
Unless we have secret check book no one talks about
It is amazing Connecticut and South Carolina are two of the lowest financially rated states in the US but seem to have funds for ”amateur athletes”
Brad (Swarm) posted in another forum a cryptic message saying he wish was super easy but it never is. So...I hope it doesn’t come down to $

The glass half full of this going to more longer than initially predict would be South Carolina announcing commits with other 5-star recruits PF like McKenna, so she’d realize that in Iowa she’d be the top1 priority, while in South Carolina she’d just be another one.The longer this drags out the less good I feel about it

The scary part is SC will have 9 open scholarships heading into next year. A clear pathway to early minutes.. now obviously they could hit the portal and shrink that number.
Dawn Staley definitely going to the Portal. And we need to analyze each position. Joyce Edwards plays the 4, she’s South Carolina’s best player, and Ashlyn Watkins is coming back in 2026/27. I don’t see McKenna getting starting minutes at South Carolina, and if another 5-star PF commits to SC, there’d be even fewer minutes for her comming off the bench.

Makes you wonder how long does it take her to figure out what to wear for the day. You know what a hard decision is a young person deciding what branch of service he or she is contemplating to join. So pick Iowa grab the money, if you don’t like it transfer. Easy choice! Damn in life there is there’s going to be a hell of a lot harder choice than choose an institution that when picked if you elect to leave for whatever reason. Transfer!!!!The longer this drags out the less good I feel about it
The decision isn’t easy precisely because she doesn't want to transfer. She wants to play all four years for the same team. Chad explained about that:Makes you wonder how long does it take her to figure out what to wear for the day. English is hard. The glass half full of this going to more longer than initially predict would be South Carolina announcing commits with other 5-star recruits PF like McKenna, so she’d realize that in Iowa she’d be the top1 priority, while in South Carolina she’d just be another one.
Only 4 of the top 10(espn) have committed. Seems like others are as confused.. or enjoy being courted. There will be much more difficult choices in life. She’s been to all the schools talked to the coaches hopefully she’s smart enough to know who’s pulling her leg. Other 5 star players don’t seem to be dazed and confused as she. But that’s where we are. I like her a lot but JC. Simply put $$$$ the problem and if you think it’s not your stupid as the day is long. So stop with the pandering.
I understood it just fine. Apparently, reading comprehension is hard for some.English is hard.
Reeks of an agent trying to squeeze out more money playing the sides against each other. The longer this drags out the less good I feel about it
That’s a little bit too much of a conspiracy theory to believe. They have a vested interest in the SEC succeeding. They have tv contracts with that league and the sec network.
