We can’t be sure what’s going on behind the scenes there. Could be some malice between his family and their current coach. They’re a mess

Maybe Miami sees him as a tweener in their D? Not sure how accurate but I saw him listed at 6'1 or 6'2" 220. Sounds like White thought he was a perfect fit for the 3-3-5 and did an excellent job of selling that vision.

That's absolutely what I think happened. I think he's really a 6'1" 225 defensive end in HS. Colleges have to project him as a standup linebacker. Nebraska thinks they have the perfect role for him with the "Jack" LB position where he'll be expected to line up with his hand on the ground as a DE and other times play off the ball. I would guess that Miami doesn't view him as a fit for their defense. Nebraska sees an athlete and thinks they have the right spot for him.
