I think people will be suprised and happy of the physicality the wings and front court players we are bringing in for next year have. They are very well built to be Freshman, and 16 in JQ's case.

Rutgers with Ace Bailey. NIL must be off the charts.

It's close enough to NYC and is generally apart of the greater NYC metropolitan area. I have to imagine there's plenty of money at Rutgers. Its got a very good business program that gets to tap into NYC, and it's filled with quite a bit of rich kids and rich alumni.

Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't a few multi-millionares kicking in.

Really liked what we saw from our guys so far.

Biggest thing I look for is their size. So often measurements are boosted. Seeing them with their peers on an ESPN broadcast gives a good barometer for that.

Knox for instance isn’t a very tall wing but has college ready strength.

Boogie has fine height but is thin. Young for his class too. Could really develop physically over 2 years in college for a potentially big sophomore season.

JQ has legit center size to me. He’ll continue to fill out too. Might be easy to think 16 and listed as a PF but that’s not what he looks like. He looks much more physical than 20 year old Center Aaron Bradshaw for instance.

Classic Duke tripper and flopper
I get that but the kids a great player and is going to average 18-10 next year, going to make all of us mad because of the love. lol. Really wanted him here honestly, but best of luck to all of these young men. All have put in a tremendous amount of work and deserve the hype they’ve gotten so far. Also I’m really liking Boogie leading his guys back out there. He’s a gamer.

I've heard some people online talk about how Flagg really didn't have much competition in Maine and the leagues he played in. I'm not saying that's true, but their take was that he might not be quite as good as people think.
His ranking comes from the summer where he's playing against the other top players in the country.

Queen is one I'd keep an eye on to steal from the portal in a year or two. Good hands and makes intuitive plays. He doesn't seem to be the kind of Big that is usually going to go to the NBA early - e.g., "plays below the rim." Let him mature and develop some at Maryland, and then steal him with NIL and UK name. I think UK should be keeping an eye on these type of players likely to become upperclassmen with a plan to try to steal them.

Like what I've seen from all of our guys. Quaintance moves well and looks like he belongs even though he's only 16. Made a few good plays on defense.
Cal needs to have an uncomfortable conversation with Quaintance and have him look elsewhere. We don’t need a 16-17 year old kid on the court next year. We are at 6 scholarships and need portal kids more than anything (obviously).
