McCready, Kellenburger, Godfrey, Watkins... Sure are a lot of I'm-Not-a-Fan "journalists" these days. These boys could learn a thing or two about subtlety from Rick Cleveland.

This is the 'anger' phase of grief. He's past denial, now just lashing out at whoever he can try to target. Because are supposed to now believe he has these great sources?

1. I don't care if Leo Lewis took money from all 120 or so Div. I schools. One word. Immunity.
2. If you want to call telling Lewis to just tell the truth when the NCAA interviews you coaching, then yes, he was coached.
3. McCready may not be a fan, but he sure knows who's signing his paycheck and makes sure he reports with the right amount of spin.

Yep, it's like clockwork

red *** today as well. Not happy with Mars and the A Team.

Bad info set to come out on Ole Miss in a few days que McReady, Godfrey, et al. on some fluff piece about Ole Miss or a distractio/redirect campaign. With this happening and the general mood of Ole Miss friendly media this morning I expect we will be seeing some major revelations related to call logs in the next day or two (maybe three).

So he admits OM paid Leo money. Where's your proof on the other 2 schools Neal? Did Rags tell you he has tapes?

I keep hearing a seeing this

from the om folks, about the "coaching" Leo.

Isn't this 17ing SOP.

I mean anytime you have an attorney representing you, and you make statements to the authorities, do you not confer with counsel (beforehand), on what you are going to say?

Did they expect him to just say "hey 17 you, msu, imma say what I want!"...

Jesus. Aren't they supposedly the law school?

They need to make up their damn minds what their story is and stick to it. It constantly flips between "Leo is lying" and "Leo took money from more schools than just us." Hint Bear fans, your only real chance is to stick with the first one. Because of the whole immunity thing.

OM fans complaining about legal counsel. They really are at the end of their rope.

I've never been on trial, but if I was and my attorney didn't help me prepare for questions before, I'd fire him.

They must have never watched Law and Order - happens all the time.**

I was involved in a civil suit with my employer (we were the plaintiff). We held a two day mock trial with a fake jury and judge and had surveys filled out about what worked well and what didn't. Before the trial you get drilled by your attorney (or someone else from the firm) as if the defense was asking you questions. The whole thing is a production.

If he wasn't coached he should have been, but I assume he was.

Because they thought they had Leo in the bag and can't get over losing a recruit to State.

I doubt we hear anything on the phone records for a few weeks. BUT, tomorrow UMiss is supposed to release the "case status report" or whatever the latest NCAA document was called. Basically the paper where the investigators said the UMiss response was FOS, and the allegations are still being asserted.

I actually got into this with opposing counsel in a recent case. What you are discussing is called PREPARING your witness. You want the witness to tell the truth, but not to get tricked into saying something the wrong way so that it hurts your case.

COACHING a witness is when give the witness answers during the questioning. Such as, you stop the questioning, go out into the hallway, and then have the witness come back with a different answer than they gave before. That's what my opponent was doing, but he told the Judge I was coaching my witness just because he didn't like the answers he was getting.

I strongly suspect that report will basically just say, "we stand by our Notices of Allegations." Probably with some details of why UM's responses are being rejected, which is what the interesting part will be.

I love on Law and Order where the police are just raking a guy over the coals, going after his manhood, talking **** about his family, yelling in his face over and over that he is a killer until he breaks down weeping and admitting to everything. All while his lawyer sits there passively not saying a damn thing. Then at the end the lawyer looks up like, "damn, maybe I shoulda said something, now he's gonna fry!"

THAT... DOES... NOT... HAPPEN... IN... REAL... LIFE! Ole Miss should know this!

McCready seems lie the most miserable person

on the planet. I'm sure he's not, but I just don't understand his schtick. People actually pay for his opinion.

Why do I keep seeing ole miss people say Leo and Kobe are the only SAs that talked? Weren't there 40ish SAs in the notice? Surely they talked if they are mentioned in the NOA. Or am I missing something?
