McConaughy Fishing

I was going to fish McConaughy last week, but when the wind comes up it gets a crazy out there, have any of you guys fished the lake east side of the dam or by the outlet? thanks in advance.

Haven't spent much time on Lake Ogallala but I’ve fished both outlets (river and canal) and caught a lot of Rainbow trout. Been a few years though.

The outlet, and lake Ogalala... Some big rainbows in August two years ago.

we fished a lot by vans lakeview back in the 70's, didn't go by the dam much cause it don't take much wind for whitecaps.
