McCabe may not be the defender of JC, but I think he'll find a zone to sink some insane baskets in the future. Once the game slows down, and he stops thinking and then starts feeling the game, he'll just mindlessly take over. Thinking about playing just puts a leash on playing.

McCabe broke a press last night vs Iowa State with about 3-4 minutes left in game and it was against 3-4 defenders. He dribbled through 3-4 defenders like Isaiah Thomas. It was incredible. Guy is getting better fast after a rough transition to high D1 WVU. McCabe has gained 10 good pounds since November. He’s more confident, stronger. He’s going to be a stud here.

McCabe will be a better offensive player than Jevon by a mile though. McCabe defense is already improving. He’s working, getting bigger, stronger already. McCabe will average more points and assists than Jevon did. McCabe has the it factor and Jevon work ethic. I think his career ends up legendary here. He has it. I’m sold.

If Konate was 100% healthy right now playing with Culver, McCabe, Haley and this group we would be a dangerous team capable of a deep run. If Konate comes back 100% healthy with these guys plus Oscar look out. Final 4 next year.
