His shooting numbers reallllly concern me from his first two years playing college ball. The whole sell with him is his size and shooting…if the shooting doesn’t carry over from last year this is a really weak pickup

We have had the best offer for every player we have went after. We had a better offer for Stokes by a large amount.

I said the dude should be fired the day the season ended, but guess what? As was the case when he was hired against my wishes, no one in charge gave a **** about what I thought. And they don't now. Would he rather play for Self than Pope? Wouldn't you? But for about the last 7-8 years, they have been better than us, and that includes when Cal was here. For an 18 year old kid, thats likely the entire time he has watched basketball. But if "We are Kentucky", we shouldn't raise a white flag when an 18 year old goes to Kansas...we should go sign someone else and then kick their *** when we play them this fall

To my view, Moreno might be the weakest starter.
That might end up being a decent line-up.
It is the bench depth that really concerns me.
