This year MC has many capable QBs to chose from but the battle for this slot has yet to be decided.
If it is still undecided, then the half-Irish, half-Italian Ryan DeAndrea, Class of '28, could be brilliant. But Elliott, Class of "29. is looking pretty good. I'd give it to the upperclassman. Let Elliott debut in his junior year, like his brother did against Loyola. That was a good game. I love beating Loyola.

Some guy on a cruise died after consuming 33 drinks. Who's to blame, legally and morally?
The lightweight who can't handle his booze, of course, is to blame.

Legally ... would want to read the TCs of all inclusive. And which are the applicable laws - International or Utah's ...

Morally, lots to unpack there.

If he debuts his junior year then you may have to bench D'Andrea his senior year? Lots of things to consider.

I think that the CCL Blue could potentially have 3 nationally ranked teams in it
Since youre the LWE fan 🤔😏 how do you see the Rice game going? I assume The Cru®️ is one of the three. Not sure who the 3rd is, I think its between LA and Montini

Montini is not in the blue though.
Marist is the new Blue team. Iggy served its sentence and is back down. It should have been Naz, why they turned it down I don't know. Marist went 4-5 and 3rd maybe in the Orange...it must have been because of enrollment

I thought it should have been Naz too. Enrollment/roster size must be why it was Marist.

Just saw the divisions for basketball. 3 divisions with 9 teams in each. The top division is absolutely loaded.

It's ridiculous. Every blue hoops team will be pre season top 25 or on the bubble

Jack was in that Loyola game his sophomore year.

That CCL Blue Hoops division is going to be loaded next year for sure. I know STL is bringing back everyone from a team that was very solid last year. Most of their talent is rising juniors too. So they will be good for a bit if everyone hangs around.

What about the kid that transferred in?
Competition will be held and see where it goes but as I said when he transferred in, after many thought MC went after a player with average stats on a average team to be there starter this season, he was promised nothing more then an opportunity. Maybe he comes out on top but he went into a situation knowing it would be an uphill battle. Stay tuned

Are these posted somewhere? Are they going to have the exact same division breakdown for all non football sports? Or will basketball and baseball and soccer all have different division breakdowns?

D’Andrea and Elliot are both studs. Both good kids too. It’s going to be a battle. Not sure what the story is with the kid that transferred in, but def not a QB battle I’d want to insert myself into. If there was a clear front runner, you’d think it would’ve spilled by now, so it sounds like this summer will decide.

Every sport will have its own divisions. I see StL being in the “blue” in baseball and soccer for sure in addition to hoops. Not sure where they’ll fit in everywhere else.

Here is my breakdown going into summer. For the second straight season MC will be breaking in a new QB. Last year Emmett Dowling came in with minimal experience but he was fortunate enough to have Quintin Burrell, Marshaun Thorton and Duran Sims to throw too. He had an outstanding season. This year MC has many capable QBs to chose from but the battle for this slot has yet to be decided. Whoever wins this position battle will also be blessed by having Quintin Burrell, Marshaun Thorton and Duran Sims to throw too once again. Add in Nathan Samuels at RB who has D1 offers and became a great receiver as well out of the backfield and it's almost unfair to have this many weapons at your disposal. Now last season Dowling had 4 OL returning. This year they have 1 so that might prevent a problem early as this unit develops but in my decades in following MC I've never been extremely worried about the OL or disappointed in their performance as a whole, but against ESL this could create a problem, but again with that arsenal of receivers one or more will be open and open quickly.

MCs real overall strength will be the defense. LB Roman Igwebuike, DL Caleb Tucker, and DB Tavares Harrington are all Nationally ranked. In addition they return their entire secondary from last season. They lost their 2 DEs but the ones this season I think will be better in Darin Graham and London Owens. Graham has Power 4 offers already. On the DL with Tucker you have returning DL Jeremy Harris who is 6'1 300 and Junior to be Emmanuel McMoore who is getting a lot of D1 offers and hasn't even played on Varsity yet but he's 6'4 250. Put it together and it's really an amazing defense top to bottom.

So based off what they have can they go undefeated? Absolutely, sure. Can they be beat? Absolutely, sure, they are teenagers. If there is a team out there that I think has the best chance to beat them it would be ESL as they have the secondary that has the best chance to contain MCs receivers. They also will test the new OL with a strong DL, and they have an incredibly talented team. I know nothing about this NJ team so I'm not sure how they match up. BR has an incredible amount of talent but also will have a new QB and have holes to fill on defense despite having two of the nations best in McGee and Parks. Loyola has talent, always do, I don't think their QB they are rumored to be going with anything great but I'm sure he will improve....but I thought the one who replaced him last year and also returns was a better leader. I don't think their secondary will be able to match up with MCs weapons. This all may change when they play each other but stay tuned. One chink in the armor last season was exposed during the State game....the offense did struggle in the cold. Granted that was uncharacteristic cold but the ball was traveling as well. Defense won them that game.

Going undefeated is great, winning State is better, so if they drop a game with their schedule then so be it, they are still the heavy odds on favorite to win #18 and that's what you want.
This will be a typical RPO game between EStL and MC... Oline only has to give the QB 2.5 seconds... MC has talent all over the field with 1s and 2s... We know EStL will have 20 penalties so if MC plays discipline ball they should be able to control the game. Over/Under will be 67.5 late in the season but should be comparable early as well.

I'll take the under. At 67.5 you're saying a 38-30 final. So there's no talent on either defense?

Being that this is the 9 year anniversary of
Lenti’s departure from MC

I am hearing that the Caravan will debut a modern twist to the famed Triple Option

It is going to feature the 3 QB’s that are in contention for the starting spot all lined up in the backfield

The center will hike the ball to one of them while the other two run around pretending that they looking for an open receiver

This will give all 3 contenders equal playing time while also confusing the current antiquated defensive system!

just when you think you have figured the MC system out….

This will be MC's best defense since the 2012-13 teams.
