Amazing. You think recruits read these message boards and care? Good grief.

You're probably one that follows a recruit on social media and sends the messages aren't you?
what i find amazing is the fact that you do not think recruits and their families read message boards
that is very naive of you

Well which is it, the fans have no power and nobody cares what is said on here at UK or they are hindering Cal in recruiting?
Make up your mind.

i wish the mods would clean up threads
they need to delete posts that are just Cal bashing
as you stated there are many threads they can whine in
They should give time outs for personal attacks imo. As far as deleting “cal bashing “ posts…..What are you , Communist?

Walton’s NIL $$$ is beginning to have an effect at Arkansas. Same for oil $$$ at Texas. Duke has always gotten top-notch recruits.
The Waltons actually aren't really doing anything for NIL. They don't really care about sports, mostly into art museums and biking trails these days.

Helps that the state of Arkansas produces a lot of good basketball talent now. Had a top 10 class in 2020 and this current class is mostly from Arkansas as well. Muss developing Moses Moody into a lottery pick has helped these kids stay home.

I'm not worried about Wallace in the least, he'll be a huge upgrade at pg. I'm just really pleased that livingston showed so well, I didn't know if he was good enough to shine there. He is. Duke may have some issues because each freshman will want to be the Dog. This year it was Banchero. A few years back Zion. Each of these guys will want to be the man and how will they react when they aren't? Evidently they were promised the moon to sign on the dotted line.

But I get his frustration. They are just so repetitive. We get it, Cal can't coach, Cal should be fired. Enough beating a dead horse. Stop taking over threads that actually have a different purpose, like discussing a player in the portal.

Nick Smith Jr should've let Cason have the ball and he'd have gotten MVP tonight. lol But I'd have loved to seen them team up at UK--but Cal didn't want to pull plug on Skyy Clark--and now you see why all of that talk in the Summer/Clark talk was taking place. Oh well.

Wallace/Livingston are going to be good players. Need to have frontline guys around to have them at their best though--keep Sharpe/Oscar or a big time 5 man and got to get Leonard Miller done or have someone ask out of LOI/Enter Portal who isn't in it yet. Miller will be playing against a lot of these guys at Nike Hoop Summit next weekend on the World Team.

Why was Kijani Wright there? He was arguably the worst McDonald's AA player I've seen since Neil Fingleton. Nothing he did looked like he belonged on the court.
is UK even showing much interest in Leonard Miller?
if they are, what about their chances to sign him?

Maybe, maybe not. I think it hinged on Hagans not driving us off a cliff. I didn't like where we were headed going into that tournament and that's mainly because I had no idea what we were about to do with Ashton Hagans. That team was not in a good place at the end of the year and it was because of the PG. We'll just never know.

Thank you for admitting you were wrong. To say the 2019-2020 UK team was better than 2004-2005 "by a landslide" just showed such a fundamental misunderstanding of Tubby's last 4 years. It makes me think you just were too young to have followed Tubby's teams, maybe you just came along with Cal. I'm guessing you did.
I've followed UK since 89.
Watched every game tubby coached. We were pitiful his last few years.

And AGAIN … we were pitiful has last TWO years, not his last FEW years. You keep saying that and even said 20 was better in a landslide which is ridiculous.

Hell does Jerry Jones help the basketball team because I bet he helps the football team with NIL money!

I know what you’re saying . I just don’t see how you can fairly censor some people for their opinions and not others.

The guy you’re responding to is attempting to make excuses as to why cal is slipping. He’s in deep denial. Although NIKE has absolutely been “influencing “ kids to duke .

There's something to them visiting last week. It was a kid who was assumed was going Pro route and then they show up in person to visit/get in the recruitment, invited him to visit, etc...so something changed on Miller's end. We'll find out soon. Interested to seeing him play at Nike Hoop Summit next weekend/or whenever it is. Miller is a UPlay Canada kid (same program as SGA and Shaedon Sharpe) so they'd have pretty good intel there. Otherwise could've just facetimed/texted, etc...

Saw the one UK fan mention Miller as a Center--he's not. He's a perimeter guy who has guard skills and grew to be 6'10.

So Miller is a stretch 4, most likely, in college (if he plays college)?

2005 was pretty close in hind sight. I still believe that Quickly was destined to become a tournament legend for us that year.

Yes 21 was worse but 2006 was pitiful aswell. 2006 practiced normally, the kids got to be kids and enjoy their lives. 2020 was a bunch of freshmen essentially playing AAU for an extended time frame
I think Maxey would have showed out, he was built for the big stage.

Somebody mentioned the Wright guy. He did look awful beyond belief. None of the true bigs looked good to me. The left handed guy, Bailey?, looked most impressive to me. Where is he going? Will be a big time star. Really knows how to play.
