Why do Monty and Haith have the same philosophy with the lead-play not to lose?

I don’t care if Jackson never scores a bucket. He is such a good defender and rebounder he can get us going w/o scoring a point

Why is the coach at ARU still calling timeouts with 10 seconds left? Asshat.

Glad to get that one over with. Got to give Korita some credit for stepping up in the 2nd half. Igbanu, I don’t know where he was all game.

Hill is a superior player to Joiner. Joiner was a net liability. Hill, despite his turnovers was +16 on the box score. Joiner needs to play smarter or sit.

I really wish Rachal had gotten 1 more board for the double double but 24 points and 9 boards isn’t bad. Korita with 13, Hill with 12, and Igbanu with 11 round out the double figure scorers. Jackson with 11 boards, pretty good for a 6’2” guard.

For tupond. We were CLEARLY the better team. Do you disagree? Without easy mistakes we win that game by 20

Hill is a tremendous player. I want to say he was more underrated than his Rivals rating. Kid has tremendous court vision.

We’ve got some guys who can actually play and rebound and defend man to man. What bothers me is we always seem to never know which player will actually be good on any given day. Today it was Rachal, Hill, and Korita. Last week vs HBU it was Igbanu and Horne. (Not sure who if anyone played well against UTA, I sort of gave up on the game about 10 minutes in).

Igbanu with 11 that should have been 20 when you think about how many missed layups and FTs that he had

We were the more athletic team but those “easy mistakes” can get you beat. I’m sure we’ll get better as the season goes along but this team still has issues.

Martins didn’t come to play tonight , that was horrific shooting by him .
The 7 footer and Early have a lot of potential.

hill is gonna be better than all, especially a better pure pg
I'm not sure about that. Clarkson was already phenomenal as a Freshman. Uzoh + Harrison carried their teams respectively. I'm really impressed with Hill's fearlessness though. He's not afraid to take open shots or put the ball on the floor and try to finish among the trees. I think Hill is already better than Taplin was for us. His stat line tonight is up there with some of Taplin's best.
