Maybe an all-Big 12 Final Four?

If NCAA selection committee keeps the latest bracketing it announced, then the Big 12 should have every team in the Final Four.

Iowa State is the lowest seed at #6 and Kansas the highest at #1.

Kansas #1 in Midwest

Baylor #2 in East

Iowa State #6 in West

West Virginia #4 in South

Stupid thread. Because 4 Big XII teams will be in separate regions, like basically every other year we need to speculate on a potential all Big XII Final Four? Wake me up when there are 4 Big XII teams in the Sweet 16

Baylor no guards = no deep run
ISU no depth = no deep run
WVU = no consistent play to make deep run
Kansas good enough but if a team has a good post player then they will be out.

You left out Okie State why?

So you don't want that to happen? I do believe. I do believe.
I don't think people would mind if 4 teams from the big 12 made the final 4 but when was the last time 4 teams from the big 12 made the sweet 16? In the entire time we have been big 12 members only Oklahoma and Kansas have made it past the sweet 16 and that was last season.

There was never and all Big East Final four and the old big east was far superior than the big 12.
The Big 8 got 2 of its 8 teams in the Final Four in 1988 and it always irritated me that it could have been a third. Kansas beat Kansas State in the Regional Final. As a Big 8 fan that bad enough, but I can't imagine how it would feel to be someone from the state of Kansas.

WV needs a bigger big man that can take over the game............every time out. That's not a foreign thought![/QUOTEu
I think it's more impressive that 10 pit bulls are willing to set their egos aside for the good of the team. In today's society, getting 18 to 22 year olds to do that under any circumstances is incredible. I credit the mad scientist on the stool.

Cuyooga...................you are wise beyond your y'EERs.
Ah, shucks. You are wise to notice that.

I just love it that an old guy on a stool can persuade guys of college age to pull together as one, and to hell with who gets the atttaboys.

I am enjoying this team and this season more than any in a while.
Beilein's teams were fun, too, because they featured shooters over muscle-bound athletes.

I think WVU is the ONLY team in America that could win with 26% shooting.

The 10 pit bulls and the made scientist on the stool are amazing.

Kansas is tough to beat because they have so many guys who can drill in a string of 3's, as we found out when we blew the 14-point lead with 2:45 to go.

But the Mountaineers found a way to win when nearly everything was going wrong .... except the defense.

A season of wall to wall defense paid off tonight.
