Another excellent signing.
This team has more talent and pieces then we get credit for.
Sha is doing amazing job with what he has to work with. If the man had $3-5 million more in NIL, he'd be at top of the league every year.
Appreciate what we have here with Sha.
Im more and more excited as the off season progresses.
I love the summer BUT I can't wait for November.

I want Sha to prove me wrong that he’s clueless offensively. Maybe this season will do it. I’m rooting for it to happen.

The object is to win. If we do, mission acconmplished.
That’s it. Win and win consistently at a certain level, which for the Hall is less than many places. You are what your record says. Right now we have a HC with 8 seasons under his belt: 1 tourney with a historic, unreal run with SPU and 3 years of kind of meh on balance; one eh season here, two good ones (including a COY award), and one all time embarrassment. Has shown he will adjust in some ways, à la the roster construction the last few years. Has also shown he needs to improve in others, and his obstinate nature may prevent that. As I said in another thread, I’m bullish on this years squad on paper even if I don’t lose my mind with every kid we bring in the door or buy into some of the lofty comparisons (you’d think after Baby Jokic and Baby Mamu a lesson may be learned, but I guess we will see when Copeland pops and gets compared to Wes Unseld).

think everyone here is rooting for Sha to break through, because why wouldn’t you as a fan.

Add the 2 bigs today ?? Not bad at all.

Looks like the Hall spent a few bucks, not SJU like, but not peanuts.

I like it.

Just saying, its wins and losses, not coaching offense, that is how teams are judged. I would love to see a better offense, but I just want to win. I bet you feel the same.
The big picture though is you need to have an offense that can score you enough points to make some noise in the tournament. Nobody is winning 6 straight defensive battle games scoring in the 50's in March.

Sha has some pieces now that look like scoring will be possible for us. He needs to put together a scheme that gets some output from them. No more halves where we score 12 points.

IMO, if the team shot 34% from 3 last year we’re in the NCAAT. Looks like we fixed that going forward but who runs the point to get guys shots? Get one inside bruiser as expected and it could be a very interesting season.

Feel like the upside for Wol is the Big East Tournament version of Jacob Dar. And man, if Dar had been in the rotation and playing like that most of the season, we would've easily been in the dance.

True. But I have to think Dar's normal play wasn't that, otherwise he would have gotten more run. It wasn't like we had an answer at the 4 spot all year. Sha sees these kids in practice, so unless he just totally missed the mark on Dar my guess is the BE play was an aberration. The portal market seemed to agree based on where Dar landed.
