the "new" guy, whose name is way too long for me to remmember or spell, looked outstanding, IMHO. very precise. 300 plus yards for a freshman? Yikes. Michigan State is one of those games that it seems we ought to win (at home, with them struggling) but now I am not so sure. Go, Penn State.

I get the passing game argument, but MSUs offense gave up over 3 sacks a game compared to Iowa's 1.33. For only playing in 8 games he put up solid stats. I would be jacked if Chiles to Iowa were a thing.

concur. but if you take the Iowa guy (Barnes?) in another thread at face value, we are not looking in the portal for a QB. I agree with you, though. this dude can play.

Do we want another 1 year QB? He would be here for spring practice but Heck Brown and Sullivan have been here for a year already and as far as knowing the system.

A stud wide receiver and DLine guys ready to go would be huge.
