If so and if they don't announce intention to return before 5/29, it will be clear to me that JM was waiting to see what they did prior to making a decision.

I don't know why those 2 would affect him. Nick is nothing more than a 5 and EJ would probably play the 5 if we don't get Nick back since a lot of people think we will only get one of the two back. McDaniels would play the 4 and from what I hear he has such amazing ball handling skills he shouldn't be too concerned with these 2. At least not with Nick at all. EJ would just give us 2 real frontcourt players. Sestina can play inside, but isn't really tall enough to play the 5 and likes to float around the perimeter and shoot 3s. Brooks can be a small ball 4, but again we only have 8 guys on the roster and one is Allen who is up in the air so 7 for sure.

Even if EJ comes back we still have to have another big guy and I don't feel great about it being just EJ and Nick. We had those 2 last year and while I know they should improve we also had RT and PJ and with injuries and fouls trouble sometimes it still seemed like we were a little short. I feel like we need 3 guys. So not sure why Ej and Nick would affect anything for McDaniels unless he wants to play 40 minutes a game. Plenty of minutes out there for the frontcourt. Maybe he is waiting to see about Blackshear and EJ I could understand that. Say we got EJ, Nick and Blackshear then I can see him not seeing enough time for himself although again he is a totally different player. But regardless I think we need 3 bigs to join to be a real contender and not waste this great roster we already have, but just need to add to. Hell if McDaniels wants to drag his feet forever I would love to see Cal try to get Dante in here early.

Nick Richards has a lot to improve on, but i guaran damn tee you this, if he sticks it out and bust his *** for two more years, he will have a shot to play in the NBA. The kid is tall, athletic as hell, with a nice smooth stroke on his jumper. He just needs to put it all together, let the game slow down for him. He has the tools, he just needs to work hard at improving his feet and committing silly fouls.

I don't think what EJ and NR do has one iota to do with JM as EJ and NR wont take a single minute from JM . Now Brooks and Sestina will so he might be rethinking due to that but EJ and NR are our centers . Mcdaniels won't play a single minute at center. If JM is concerned with those 2 he doesn't pay attention to basketball. Now JM very well might not like that we already have 2 PF . I doubt it but it is at least possible.

But in regards to EJ and NR they will wait til the 28th or 29th like all players do these days for the most part. Just IMO I think the chances of them coming back are Nick at 90% and EJ at 65% but really who the hell knows lol .

Really the 1 question is will Mcdaniels be the starting PF ( if we get him he will ) or will Sestina or Brooks. Either way as long as the 2 centers come back we are in good shape as Brooks is a great player and Sestina obviously is as well ( never seen him play so I am not going to act like I have ) as he is ranked the best big man transfer with Blackshear not in the transfer market at the moment.

But, I guess since you can attack kids you feel you also can attack other posters, funny guy. Personally I just believe they wanna make dat money.....and if there's a way out it doesn't matter if it's millions...they just want out. that's my opinion and gut feeling. And to be honest....I would probably be the same way. I mean, i hated HATED school. it's not for everyone. I just believe they want some kind of contract to make money playing ball and take their chances.....those are my links.
