Wow touchy touchy but I understand it. In all fairness Mitchell Mountie said all the teams would get beat. Mitchel and Mount airy so chill out guys. I wish we had some cardinal threads on 2a but not many ppl talking over there. East is good and very well coached in a system that is awesome. I do think it will be close and I have belief we will win but Mount airy is scary fast and strong. I personally think they are a year way from going on a 2.or 3 year run with all that JV talent. Lastly there are still some good ol hairy cheats up here Mitchell fellas. Not all is city slickers are waxers haha. Also as far as rankings go tarboro and Mitchel should be there. They were the last 2 standing. Btw td you said it was the pass defense at wythe. That's what the comment came about. That was it an issue but once Friday was it? Albeit in a big way. However. All that gimic stuff north does can get lucky occasionally. Where I was impressed was how physical North was. They better than ppl think
It would be nice if all those jvs stick around but we dropped from 20 sophomore in 2020 to 8 seniors this year. Have to depend on underclassmen a lot every year. Good thing the talent pool is deep.
MA offense is actually better than last year they will score 14 in 1st qrt. Defense is not as strong but offense can score in one play

While the MaxPreps rankings makes for good conversation & thread I wouldn't get to caught up in it or whether your team raises or falls since it no longer has anything to do with where your team ends up in the playoffs it still comes down to RPI rankings and taking care of business on the field.

I'm inclined to think that Tarboro WOULD beat quite a few 4A teams, if all things were equal and depth was taken out of the equation.
I think we could beat some but them teams in Charlotte I don't think so.

Schools in 4a are just like 1a. Some good some not so much. Tarboro could beat a lot of them. Only difference would probably be the size of the line and depth.
Tarboro and Reidsville have played twice tarboro won in 98 and Reidsville won in 2000

As for not talking smack.......you've obviously never read our threads when we play Asheboro, SW Randolph, or Orange/Blue.
The Coach's in Wilkesboro is pretty good. It has a nice little bar as well.

They would beat most 4a in our area except for Mt Tabor,Reagan and East Forsyth.
What other 4a schools are near the Greensboro and Winston Salem area? I know page is one
