Glad Maxey performed well but I feel like it was another of those situations where the refs force a game 7.

Embiid elbowed the everliving crap out of John Collins face and then caused a commotion and the Hawks were punished as much as he was. Also felt that the Sixers were allowed to play more physical on the defensive end.

Yeah he looked like he belonged out there. Fun to watch and waited til it was his turn. Cal is proud I'm certain as he should be all our NBA Kids are first class and no slip ups. Just smart kids and young men who are earning not wanting it given to them.

Reminds me of Kyrie.
I see it. Probably a little more explosive but not quite as crafty as Kyrie. Although Maxey is pretty damn creative around the rim. The one thing that's going to hold him back from being really good and being an All-Star is if he can ever shoot it like Kyrie. His form has gotten better from his time at UK, it looks like he's gotten his release point a little higher. When he was here it was almost like a chest pass. It's still low, though, so he's going to have to master a step back if he wants to regularly get it off the dribble. I like his game a lot though, Philly fans are in for a treat. Smiling all the time still too, that's infectious.

Complete guess on my part but thinking they may go ahead and trade Simmons and start Maxey in the next year or two.

I forgot how creative Maxey is at finishing at the rim. That lil reserve lay he had last night instantly sparked my memory for all the nice finishes he had at UK. And his floater game is nice.

Maxey is going to go down as a strange memory for UK fans because of the shortened season. No tournament on his UK resume but by no fault of his own. I think he's going to have a really great NBA career.
Man **** that rona season…him and IQ in the tourney would’ve been a handful for opposing teams.
