We're you saying the same thing when we recruited Geo, Montez, and Harper. These kids were not national recruits. You, me and every other RU fan have no idea how these recruits will actually pan out. I look at it this way -4 years ago we were horrific - this year we would have gone dancing. It is not only who you get its do they fit the system the coach wants to run, have they shown improvement from Jr to Senior year, are they coachable, do they have good character, will they mesh with current roster. If I am coach these are things I look for in a recruit not just what is there star rankingLook to be fair I am not saying they don’t deserve ships. These three would be perfect complimentary recruits with two studs like a Cliff O and another top 150 guard or shooting forward. If this ends up being our three man class though it will hurt. Will reserve judgement until the final class is set.
You are so hung up on rankings. There is so much more to be coming an elite team than just star rankings. Every coach I have heard talk about recruiting - in any sport - states recruiting to their system is first and foremost in with regards to who they target.How so?
