Okay....Just more pure conjecture on your part, more total BS to throw at the wall?
Have you ever attended a private school? There are some things those schools have zero tolerance for and it’s different for every school. TruHusker listed off several, speaking from experience it doesn’t matter if it’s 2 weeks or 2 semesters from graduation. Zero tolerance is zero tolerance. A senior in at my school was expelled from smoking ditch weed growing adjacent to campus. He violated school rules. Zero tolerance
The Board voted, kid got to graduate somewhere else
Smoking weed and dress code violations are kind of different, just sayin.

I have plenty of experience dealing with private schools, thanks.

If it was something as trivial as a repeated dress code violations, I can promise you the kid and his family would be all over social media complaining about it. The fact that they aren’t, tells you that it was something more serious than dress code violations.

As I said, 99% of the people who do this for a living, have stated he was on track to graduate from TCA and get to Nebraska by the fall. Now he isn’t.

To me, this is simply another case of people wanting to believe it is something small to keep hope alive.
Fair enough I see your point. For every Randy Moss that makes it out of their situation there are kids that never set foot on campus.

Not sure where you get 99%.

According to this article teams backed off from Washington before signing day due to grade issues.
of course they did.
he didn't have many real offers.
neb was willing to take a chance. similar to all the juco offers.
neb is now doing the same things the lower end P5 programs do
not that theres anything wrong with that.
but fans should be cautious with their criticism of other programs because it usually comes back around.

I bet he makes it. Obviously it won’t be this year but I honestly feel he will make by next year. Hopefully Frost (or who ever) keeps on his *** and helps keep his head on straight and gets him here. With his talent, he could be very special.

Oh and I swear this happens every single year. The stud true freshman QB is going to come in and beat out everyone else and take us all the way. Gebbia was a top 100 QB as well and Frost has said he’s plenty fast enough. His ONLY knock was his size. It was the only knock I heard on him. He’s still got all summer to get that weight up.

Can’t wait to hear more of your insights. What a great addition to the board.

This is a very true statement as I have managed two private schools. Repeated dress code, disrespect of any kind, lack of self control, inappropriate language, absences, and there is an entire list of things that are common every day occurrences in public schools that many private schools have a low tolerance for.

Yes so true and I think without knowing the circumstances, it's probable that he would not have been expelled from a public school. That is one of the advantages of working at a private school.

Messing around at school and your athletic eligibility is used up? See ya!
