Highly doubt Walz would come here. Mitchell might, and I would very much be on board with that.

I don't think Walz gets the fan support that he would here. Though I'm not sure on attendance #'s or anything.

Look at the KFC Yum Center and look at the Humpty Dump

But it still beats the dump Kentucky plays in for WBB

If you’re going to put Jeff Walz on the list, you might as well include Kelly Graves. Oregon will take a step back after losing their two best players, so might not be a bad chance to make a jump.

Those two would be near the top of my list. I'd at least get both of the raises (Walz - $1.4, Graves $700)

Don't rule out the Texas ex. NCAA's 7/8 if you assume this year. The problem was not W/L but she and an AD didn't blend since the old AD staff hired her. She is an excellent recruiter. Arkansas native.

She wasn't great. We've got a top 8 program. We don't want top 25.

A serious question. Which one of the top 10 coaches in the country can we hire?

(Spelling on all is iffy)

Staley, Auremma, Mulkey, Shaefer, Vanderveer - nope

Walz, Frese, Close - unlikely

Graves, Moore - could be.

The second ten and coaches sitting out is where some viable options pop up.

All of the above doesn't take into account a cultural fit.

Sherry Coale won a national championship at Oklahoma and is beloved in Norman. Think she loves that place, but might wanna throw $2 million at her and see how much.

A) She has never won a national championship.

B) Her last three seasons at OU are 16-15, 8-22, 12-18.

You didn't think we could get Leach either. You go after them and make them say no. You don't settle right off. None of them may but that doesn't mean you don't try. We're a top 8 program now. We pay top money and have some of the best support in the country. You think swapping Vic for a fired coach is the answer? Damn

I stand corrected. She probably should have won a couple, like Vic. Yes, she has reportedly been on the hot seat in Norman.
