I don’t know that he’s “scared”, instead it’s just that he knows that he doesn’t have to anymore. His crazy contract effectively makes him accountable to nobody. No longer has to talk to his boss, no longer had to talk to local media, etc. What are we gonna do about it? He knows we can’t fire him.
