Soooo what's your pointI see that Iowa State has lost three in a row. The good news is, they were all close.
Sounds like our kind of coach.I see that Iowa State has lost three in a row. The good news is, they were all close.
His stock is plummetingLast year I'd probably be happy to have him. Now I'd honestly be pretty disappointed. And that's an understatement
If the media stopped jocking up ISU each preseason the fans would be fine.Campbell has hit his ceiling and shown he is an average coach. I have also heard ISU fans complain he runs a “good ole boys“ network and won’t fire his friends. I don’t want a coach ISU fans are starting to get tired of.
I bet he'd jump in a heartbeat. He has now called out the whole Iowa State fanbase (unfairly) for the 2nd time. On top of the fact he refuses to change what isn't working, which is leading to him losing more, he's showing that he's a colossal douchebag. He's a poor man's Pelini. Outdated and angry at the wrong things. Don't want at all
Or they become lifers at these schools and they go down in history as the best thing to have ever happened at that small school. These coaches at schools with limited ceilings need to cash in when they get an outlier or 2 season otherwise you regress to the mean and the offers dry up
He still has tread on the 2020 win over Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl. The 250,000 miles of tread made off the 2017 Oklahoma win has seemed to worn away.
The 5 year warranty is no good either.
And that is why he should have listened to offers last year from anybody who offered. He’ll probably be buried in AmesHis stock is plummeting
Iowa State will probably name their field after him if he stays in Ames for 20 years and takes them to bowl games at least 15 out of those 20 years. And that is why he should have listened to offers last year from anybody who offered. He’ll probably be buried in Ames
Jealousy is a *****.Why would he leave ISU for the nebraska job? Nebraska is a career killer for coaches.
Iowa sucks. Why would he leave ISU for the nebraska job? Nebraska is a career killer for coaches.
If the media stopped jocking up ISU each preseason the fans would be fine.
The fans keep falling for these "expectations" that are not realistic.
And you're a one trick ponyWhy would he leave ISU for the nebraska job? Nebraska is a career killer for coaches.
Fyi,Or they become lifers at these schools and they go down in history as the best thing to have ever happened at that small school.
I do not see the greatness in Matt Campbell. I think is an OK coach, neither good nor bad. Just OKI see that Iowa State has lost three in a row. The good news is, they were all close.
Not sold on him eitherThe current fervor for Leipold reminds of the fervor for Campbell a couple years ago.
Small in terms of athletic budget vs Nebraska's athletic budget.Fyi,
ISU has a larger enrollment then N.
I agree. He is just ok. A little above average, but not spectacular. However, after Scott Frost, someone like Matt Campbell looks good by comparison.I do not see the greatness in Matt Campbell. I think is an OK coach, neither good nor bad. Just OK
Thinking the same thing..Question what’s Wisconsin AD thinking ?The current fervor for Leipold reminds of the fervor for Campbell a couple years ago.
That's referred to as a "Ferentz."Or they become lifers at these schools and they go down in history as the best thing to have ever happened at that small school.
Leonhard will get the job. Bet on it.Thinking the same thing..Question what’s Wisconsin AD thinking ?
Them or dear ole’ Nebraska U?Leonhard will get the job. Bet on it.
It sounds like a **** ton of behind the scenes stuff.Thinking the same thing..Question what’s Wisconsin AD thinking ?
