NU did an excellent job in getting this kid up to Lincoln. Don't know for sure where Rich Glover is living, but he was in town to meet Mathis with Trev and JP. This kid should have been a Longhorn. Didn't happen, the NU staff and approach easily won the day.

I really don't want to get too up on this guy, but it feels like I have been waiting so long for another dominant pass rusher at NU. Watching guys like Kenny Walker, Trev Alberts, Wistrom, Peters bros, Tomich, etc was such a big reason why I loved Nebraska back then. Here's to hoping he has a monster year.

He'll be the closest thing to Randy G since he left. Was also impressed with Garrett Nelson's giddy-up at spring game. If these 2 guys stay healthy, we'll have the best pass rush we've seen under Frost.

Our defense will look exponentially better when we get to the quarterback.

All phases of our recruiting relationship with Mathis seemed to be on point. NIL, playing time, fan and alumni support. Is this a glimpse of what is to come, or did we just get it right this one time where everything just lined up for us? I want to hope that this is a glimpse of what's to come. Hopefully, we can get recruits that would never have considered us before, highly seeking us out, and having us in the final group.

Leadership in the back offices of recruiting will be a big deal. Frost and Company had a plan for both Mathis and Drew and they successfully sold it. The NIL approach appears to be advanced. I’ve heard about a guy named Vince. It seems like this was a very good hire.

I could have sworn his mom trashed Nebraska on Twitter just a day or 2 before his announcement....to drive up his $650,000 price tag.

But now all of a sudden it's all about how great Nebraska is.

Am I wrong about what I remember about all this?

She posted a graphic comparing the abysmal record of Dawson of developing players versus the DL and OLB coaches of Texas

whether simply posting facts can be construed as disparaging is debatable

I asked you to source your claim in a previous post, and to this date, nothing. You made it up. It is clear as day.

She clearly meant it to be disparaging.

Dawson:
2021 -No DL drafted
2019 -Giants 22nd in NFL in sacks
2018 -No DL drafted
2017 -No DL drafted
2016 -No DL drafted

Bo Davis:
-
-
-she lists $322,053,260 in NFL DL earnings

Like I said, these players & families are laughing their asses off about what fools we are for believing their BS about how much they love us.

Some people are laughing their asses off at others who are being fools, that’s for sure…
